"Ruka-san! Are you exited!? Soon we will see Kaname!" Yuki cried merrily. She gave the captivated look of somebody seeing someting beautiful,
a once-in-a-lifetime miracle. Why does it have to be him? I clenched my fists in envy. I so wish that I was the one in her positon.
"It will be so nice to spend Christmas with him. Oh! He's here!" She says exitedly. I watch like a fool as she runs into my beloved's arms.
"Hello Yuki..., how have you been?" You ask her with your eyes fixed on me. I freeze, unable to move as you stare at me like your trying to read my mind.
"Hello Ruka..., will you not welcome me?" You ask in a captivating tone that only reminds me how I cannot let you go, no matter how hard I try. I turn my eyes away and go to my room. I couldn't stand seeing Kaname in her arms.
I lie down on my bed, my eyes were watering and my chest felt tight. I sigh. What must I do to make you see me first?" I hear the door open and watch as you sit down at the edge of my bed, staring at me intently.
"Ruka, is something bothering you?" He asks, stroking my long hair. "Kaname-sama..., I just felt a little dizzy" I couldn't bring myself to tell him that I was jealous and didn't like it when Yuki touched him.
"Dizzy? I see. So you will try to lie to me" He put his thumb and index finger under my chin and made me look at him. He stared at my sad eyes, examining me. I could not help but feel naked under his intense gaze.
"...I'm jealous." He leant forward and kissed me softly on the lips. "Of Yuki? Do you not want me to touch her? Do you not want me to be kind or affectionate to her? Am I right? Kaname questioned, reading me again. I hesitate "..Yes"
Kaname's eyes turned menacing. "Do not ever lie to me again Ruka. I like you because you are loyal. Because I know you would never hide something from me. Otherwise I will be quite disappointed in you." He said darkly. I grabbed on to him and hugged him tightly, sobbing.
"I am so sorry Kaname-sama." I blushed slightly as he stroked my cheeks. "You are VERY important to me Ruka" He says, and kisses me again.
THE NEXT DAY
"Ruka-san! It is time to open presents!" Yuki said wit the exitement of a five-year-old child, and began to exchange gifts. I smiled at her,
despite how jealous I was of her. It was Christmas after all.
"Ruka, are you leaving already?" Kaname asked, smiling. "Yes ...why do you ask Kaname-sama?"I answed as he approached me. "At least let me hold you first." He said in a deep, alluring tone. He wrapped his arms around me from behind and kissed my neck. He then turns me around and smiles. "I knew it would fit."
I look at my neck and and on it is a necklace with a small violet stone with a gold frame. It was to beautiful for words. Perhaps he did want me instead of Yuki. I blushed and smiled at him. "I love you Kaname-sama" I say, suprising myself a little. He smirked and wrapped an arm around my waist, kissing me and leading me up to his room with him. He held onto me and kissed me passionately, pinning me down on the bed. We kissed and made love, marking me permenantly as his mate.
