Hello everyone, my name is Brooklynn-Davis (yes it is one name). I'm currently 15 years old, I do live in the U.S. (no further details on location), I enjoy writing. I have another story 'A is in Angel' which I'd love for you guys to read.
This is an edit of my book previously because I felt I've grown over the years as an author and I want my work to reflect me.
Disclaimer: I do not own anything but the story plot/story line. Characters belong to Disney. All locations, brands, products, etc. that do exist and are mentioned are just a coincidence. I do not own them. This is for the entire book because I hate disclaimers everywhere.
Love ya,

Austin's POV:
Hey I'm 'trouble'. To teachers I'm the one they expect to fail. But hey, don't blame they never asked if I wanted to go to school. Come on, we should get a vote since this is America and all. Right...
Hi I'm 'lucky'. To most guys I'm know as the superior, and no I'm not overreacting. It's true I'm the top off the food chain. I'm their leader, and I have to show them how to lead so when (if) I graduate someone else can take over. My closest friends Dez and Dallas
Hi I'm 'too-precious-to-waste'. To my family I'm the most sweetest thing in the world. They know all of what I do, it's just my brothers and sister are like ten times worst than me. My parents are NOT the greatest people, and they aren't the worst (just look at Ally's life) but that doesn't make us a big happy family... not at all.
Hi I'm 'amazingly-attractive'. To most girls at my school (or in life period) I'm pretty awesome. And by awesome I mean I'm pretty darn lovable. Yes, I do have my girlfriend Cassidy, but I can't help but notice the attention dawned on me.
Hi I'm 'blondie'. I had to put this special little lady in her own group, her name is Ally Dawson. She's a total loser to me. She's not a nerd or anything she's actually quite popular. Even thought we may not exactly 'like' each other, I see her 24/7 considering she's my neighbor. Plus we share the same group of friends, but we never really talk. Ally and I have a very mixed relationship.
I stretch myself out of my yellow bed to get ready for school. I open my eyes and look around my room, ugh I hate this paint my whole room is such a bright yellow, my eyes burn.
Note to self, it is time to redecorate.
I sit up, and walk to my bathroom. I take a quick shower letting the water rinse off my stress from yesterday. I wrap my towel around me. I change into a white t-shirt, blue button up jacket, a pair of blue jeans, and my white Nikes.
I stand up heading to the small window near my bed. I open it and see Ally in her room right across the yard to mine, thanks to the close proximity of our houses.
Our houses are extremely close and it is extremely frustrating. Ally is intently combing her hair, I don't know why I suddenly take a moment to look at her but it relaxes me. Suddenly, she spots me staring at her.
She hurries to the window and pokes her head through letting her dark brown hair fall loosely across her face.
"Hey Blondie!" She yells, opening the window and leaning on her window edge. I quickly open my window also.
I smirk and reply "Dawson, you didn't have to dress out for me, and red happens to be my favorite color." She glances me a confused look. I point toward her outfit. She looks down at her standing in a red cami and white pj short shorts.
"PERVERT!" She screams, slamming her curtains close. I shrug, guess I have something to annoy her about today. I grab my whistle necklace, and start rushing down the stairs.
I reach the bright green kitchen, my family has a thing for annoyingly bright colors.
My dad, Riker (brother), Ryland (brother), and Rocky (brother) are sitting at the dining room table. Jonas, our personal chef, comes by and hands me a plate with eggs, bacon, banana, Belgium waffles, and honey.
God, I love honey.
I grab it and thank him. I plop down beside my father. As I begin eating I notice two missing spots, must be...
"Dad, did mom find Rydel yet?" Rocky asks, on his phone probably texting his friends. My other sibling, Rydel, is a 16 year old drop out. Rydel is a bit notorious for sneaking out.
"No, and get off your phone for once in your life." Dad barks, reading his newspaper intently. My dad doesn't really put that much time into dealing with 'some' of his kids, especially Rocky and his imposingly 'nonsense'.
My brothers all glance at Rocky, expecting him to come back witty like usual.
"Screw you!" Rocky exclaims plainly, moving to sit on the breakfast counter stillon his phone.
My dad looks up angrily, like he's about to do something he'll regret. Riker grabs his arm on impulse.
"Calm down Dad. And Rocky who knows where Rydel could be, who knows what goes on in her crazy head." Riker jokes.
We all laugh at this, except my dad of course, he's furious. "She started seeing a doctor a month ago, why don't you guys just grow up!" Dad says, rolling his eyes at his son's stupidity.
Rocky stands and grabs Dad's newspaper off the table. I sit back amused as Dad reaches to grab it only for it, only to be balled up and thrown in the trash by Rocky.
Dad is furious now and yelling. Rocky ignores him and strolls out the house like it is a casual everyday thing. Because with Rocky and his extremely short temper it is.
Rocky's only safe haven is in his room alone or on his phone. He has a hard time handling anger, and the longer people are around him, the more it builds up. I know Rocky volunteers at the gym and he is on the advance wrestling team there which helps him handle anger and he's really good... too good. He was suspended from there a few months ago using steroids to move up weight classes, and that also got him suspended from school. He was offered to go back to his school, but he refused, making another 16 year old drop out in my family.
Plus Rocky and Rydel are twins...
"Rydel is a freak, didn't she lose her virginity at like 13." Riker hisses to make dad angrier.
Dad growls, "She was 14 and she was going through a hormonal state."
"Come on Austin I'm driving you to school." Dad sneers, glaring at my brothers and of course glorifying me. He drags me toward the door.
"Give Ally a hug for me." Riker yells, grabbing his backpack. My siblings apparently 'ship' Ally and I together... whatever that means.
"I'll do much more of that to Ally." I joke, snickering. I hear howls and whistles from Riker and Ryland as my dad slams the door shut.
He drags me to the car. "Could you let me go?" I yell at him, a little too loudly. He stares at me in shock, I usually don't yell at my parents like my siblings do. I let them be the rebellious ones.
A voice interrupts my thoughts. "Bye honey have a good day!" I turn to my left and see Ally's dad, Lester, wave goodbye as he leaves out.
Ally starts walking to school, they must have heard us arguing because Ally is now glancing me with a rude scoff. She's trying to act displeased about my behavior around her dad. She's an angel in front of her dad, but when he's not around let's just say she's not.
I'll remember this once we get to school.
"Come on Dad, lets go." I say to him. He waves off what I said and we both get in the car, heading off to school.
Ally's POV:
Greetings, I'm 'well-behaved'. To my teachers I'm a decent student. I'm not a scholar or anything but I try my best to pass. School isn't exactly my favorite thing in the world, but at least I show up. That's more than some of the Moons can say.
Hi I'm 'pathetic'. Let's just say the girls at my school don't really like me. I tend to ignore it though, I have my two best friends Trish and Alanna to help me through it. I guess you could consider me popular-ish, even though I hate the the whole popularity scale and all.
Hey, I'm 'just Ally'. To my family I'm just as noticeable as the wall. My mother is gone, so I live with my father, Lester. Quickly after my mother, he moved on to his girlfriend, Catty. This is where the notability comes into play, I don't even think Catty cares if I eat and my Dad is too busy, or to ignorant to notice me. I have a sister but she's all grown up though.
Hi I'm 'cute'. I don't want to sound self-centered, but I happen to attract a lot of attention from the male species. I do have my boyfriend Elliot. Or as m friends like to call him 'MAN CANDY' since we never talk, all we do is... Yeah you get the point.
Fuck I'm 'ALLYSON DAWSON'. Yes, I had to put this frustratingly attractive, ignorant, self-absorbed idiot in his own category. His name is Austin Monica Moon, and that's all I want to say about him.
Austin just saw me in my pajamas.
On instinct I scream out an insult and slam my curtains shut. At my house you can never open the windows to let the sunlight in because you'll be letting the devil next door in too.
I hate morning showers, thank God I took mines last night. I throw on some clothes to spare time.
"ALLY DAWSON GET DOWN HERE!" My dads girlfriend, Catty, yells for me probably in the kitchen.
I snatch my earbuds out that I was listening too. Ugh and this was one of my favorite song. Goner by Twenty One Pilots. I grab my backpack and stumble reluctantly down stairs.
I enter our dark green kitchen. All of our rooms are painted dark and ugly. Catty is color sensitive, so even before she moved in he repainted the whole house.
I mutter a faint greeting and seat myself at the bar stool near my father and Catty.
Catty has jet black hair and wicked eyes. She's wearing a tight black dress that hugs her full figure 8, she has on black pumps, and silver dangling earrings that cost a fortune.
"Is there something you two wanted?" I ask turning to my Dad, completely ignoring Catty. She takes charge though and slams her fist down almost on my hand.
"You put my powder in my nail polish, my nails are crackling because of you!" She yells angrily spitting in my face. All of this over something I did when I was a preteen. Catty never uses nail polish because she spends hundreds at the nail shop, she is just noticing it.
I roll my eyes, deeming this situation irrelevant. I stand up and I slam the door, looking out in front of our yard. I start walking down our steps. It's a beautiful day to walk to school, quicker I get away from home the better.
BOOM! I turn around, my dad comes storming out of the house. I gulp. He grabs my arm, staring me in the eye probably about to yell.
Then unsurprisingly his face softens. "Ally sweetheart I know you and Catty has some issues between each other, but please try to get along I really like her." My dad begs.
"You liked for a long time Dad," I turn to him, with the 'really' face about to use my gift from God of sarcasm.
To the left of us Austin and his Dad come barreling out of the house. Austin start shouting something and pushes himself away from Mr. Moon. At least I'm not the only one having a bad day.
I turn back to Dad. "Sure, whatever. I'll try." I mutter, highly annoyed at the situation. He gives me a big smile and pats my back before I start hurrying down the sidewalk.
"Bye honey, have a great day!" My dad shouts waving. I ignore him.
Out of the corner of my eye I see Austin smirk and I scoff. I'll hear about this later, I suppose.
"Yeah Dad, you really like Catty... in bed." I whisper, seeing Austin and his dad pull out as I walk to school.
Hope you enjoyed. Review. Favorite. Follow. DM.
