You can't sleep, well how can you sleep when the forecast said it was to rain the next few days. That boy, you've seen him many times before. Heck you two are in the same class but never once have you really talked to him. You always took the bus to school but only rainy days have you seen him on that very same bus. Does he normally walk to school?
You've tried many times before only to lose to someone else. On Valentine's Day you had made chocolates for the boy but lost to a certain school idol.
"Tsuna-kun,"
"Kyoko-chan?"
"Happy Valentine's Day."
You quickly ran down the stairwell that led to the school's roof after seeing you were a bit too late.
When his birthday had come around you planned to greet him and finally get your chance to get him to notice you. Your plan had failed as he was crowded by a group of people he called his friends.
You finally had your chances. It's gonna rain today and you've woken up quite earlier than normal. You didn't need that alarm clock and it surprised your mom that you got up so early. Your hair gets frizzy when it rains but that didn't matter now. Even if you were worried it wouldn't matter for you were so excited all your worries were gone. Today you looked perfect. I'm gonna make you notice me.
On the bus you watched as you saw him get on. All you did was watch him. When his eyes caught you, you quickly looked away. Your stop was now here. The two of you got off at the same time. You had hoped for him to notice you but all that happened was that you two bumped into each other as you came down.
"Gomen."
That was it. You had your chance but it quickly ended. It's not the end though. The forecast said the next few days right?
Again you were so excited you couldn't sleep. Sadly that led you to sleeping in. Right away you looked out your bedroom window. It just seemed okay outside, no hard showers or sunshine. Sighing you checked the forecast, 50% chance of rain today…not good. Quickly you brushed your teeth and changed into your uniform.
Out the door already and no rain. On the bus he wasn't there. Looks like your luck had run out.
Or so you thought. Maybe fate had given you another chance since by the end of the day it was raining…hard. You walked behind him as you two made your ways to the bus stop. Something had caught your eye though, a key chain. It seems to have fallen from his bag. You now believed fate was on your side. Taking the small item in your hand you picked up your speed and caught up to him.
"Um, excuse me?"
"Huh?"
"You dropped this."
"Thanks. Hey, you're in my class, right?"
"Yup, [Last Name] [First Name]."
"Sawada Tsunayoshi, nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too."
Together, you walked to the bus stop. You got your chance and you were gonna savor every moment of it.
