The usual disclaimers apply. Feedback is extremely welcome, including constructive criticism. Oh, and I do apologize for not having updated the ongoings in quite a while - they are being worked on but my entire comic and DVD collection is currently locked away in storage so I'm short on reference materials.
Anyway, more than enough from me...
The Sweet Dream
The dreamer... drifts.
Down endless corridors drifts he, through mist and memory, through space and time. Time is all he has. Memory is all he is, all he shall ever be. He is as substantial as a dying breath, as fleeting as an idle fancy one hot summer's afternoon.
The dreamer dreams.

Red.
All red.
They had been all red.

The dreamer... wakes.
Terror rises with sudden sickness, despair and self-loathing wash through his every cell. He looks down at himself in horror; in supplication at the man on the dais before him.
"I'm... awake? I should never be awake! I'm only human when I'm sleeping!"
A/N:
