Disclaimer: I don't own La Corda D'oro - it belongs to Yuki Kure and Koei.

The fact that Keiichi Shimizu's world revolves around his giant cello is extremely evident. Only a blind person would miss something so obvious. And just by looking at the instrument, which is actually twice Shimizu's size, one can tell that he cares for it a lot - the way it's smooth, brown exterior gleams proudly and the way he strokes the strings with his bow lovingly.

Shimizu Keiichi's girlfriend, Fuyuumi Shouko, watches him practice everyday and she can't help but feel a small twinge of jealousy when she sees him caress the instrument gently. She knows she'll always be the second-most precious thing to him - the first on that list is his cello. Although she claims she really doesn't mind coming second to a cello, she does mind. Quite a lot infact - after all, who would be happy when they're loved less than an instrument?

And little does she know that there is indeed one thing that Shimizu Keiichi loves more than his cello.

If anyone were to ask him what he loved more than his cello, his reply would be, "Fuyuumi Shouko".

Reviews will make me a very happy girl ^_^. Concrit would be nice too ;).
