Task #2: Write about being obsessed with something
One thing Ludwika Zabini wanted the most was to stay youthful. At the mere age of twenty, she had used all types of patios and beautification charms to look beautiful. But she wasn't satisfied. It wasn't as if she isn't pretty she was with dark luscious hair, chocolate skin and amber eyes but pretty wasn't enough she wanted to be breathtaking.
On the advice of one of her former schoolmates, she visited an old witch who lived outside the Hogsmeade. Her cottage was old and rusty and everything was all over the place. Ludwika rolled her eyes in disgust
"I want to stay youthful forever, they said you could help me," she said rudely but the old witch ignored her and kept stirring the cauldron. This angers Ludwika as she shouted, "I'm talking to you old hag, are you deaf?"
"Ah, temper, temper. Keep your temper down young lady or you won't get any answer" mocked the old witch. Ludwika took few calming breaths then spoke with forced politeness
"will you help me? Please". Seeing the young witch's obvious. Impatintness the older woman asked
"But you're a witch yourself, why do need my help?". Ludwika huffed in annoyance
"I tried all sort of potions, all type of charms. But nothing seems to work"
"I have a solution but it isn't easy. You must drink the blood of a man who loves you more than his own life" explained the old woman.
"it's so easy, there are plenty of men who'll die for me," Ludwika said emotionlessly as if drinking another person's blood was a casual thing. But the old witch shook her head
This isn't that easy. There are many rules for this ritual. You must kill the man by yourself, he must be pure-blood, he must be your husband, you must kell him on your wedding night" instructed the old witch.
When Valentino proposed to her, Ludwika couldn't believe her luck. She was quite close to having her most desired. Their wedding was a quiet affair and not many people were invited. Ludwika was getting impatient, she badly wanted to be alone with Valentino
After many rounds of lovemaking, Ludwika and Valentino were in each other's arms. He lovingly stroked his new bride's cheeks.
"ti amo Ludwika, you made me the happiest man in this world," Valentino said lovingly. Without her husband's knowledge, Ludwika opened the drawer.
"you're such a flatterer, my love," Ludwika said.
"No, I'm serious. I love you more than anything" Valentino proclaimed..
"will you give up your life for me?" Ludwika asked. As Valentino said yes, she pulled out a dagger and stabbed Valentino. Valentine tried to reach for his wand but Ludwika stabbed him rapidly. Once she was sure her husband actually died, she pulled out the dagger And licked the blood off the blunt edge.
"What do you mean I wasn't supposed to consummate!" shouted Ludwika while the old witch just stared at her.
"I clearly told you to kill him not to consummate. Now you won't get the same result. Though his blood will give you youth and beauty but not for long. There's also a possibility that you might be pregnant, in that case, your child will drain all the essence of that magical blood" explained the old witch
"W-what?. I-I will get rid of it. I don't want this child" Ludwika stuttered.
"Don't be a fool. You'll get plenty of chances to resume your beauty but only one chance to continue your bloodline. Cause from next time you won't repeat the same mistake" the old witch said. Ludwika just nodded.
On Blaise's third birthday, Ludwika gifted her precious son a new father and the rest is history
