Authors Note: Yeah, that's right. I'm writing a story about Vikal. Y'know that minor character who had a really good design but was unfortunately used so 17 could look cool. Salt aside, I've wanted to start this story for a long time now. Note that there will be OC's in this story, mainly because I need some antagonists.
Three Years Before the Tournament of Power
Snow fell across the night sky, winter had begun on the planet. Moonlight shined through the clouds, giving the planet some light. On this planet, there was a town. A peaceful town that was clearly the prime place for a random villain attack. Unbeknownst to any inhabitants of the planet that happened to be awake at this time of night, they were being watched.
Perched on top of the tallest tower of the town was a woman. Her skin was as pale as the snow, her long hair tied in a ghostly blue ponytail, her eyes glowed pink in the night. Her outfit was a purple and black leotard that did not leave that much to the imagination. With wings folded across her back, one could say that she looked really cool.
Her name is Vikal and she is the protagonist of this story.
Vikal observed the town. From her perch she could see everything in it, from the tallest of towers to the lowest of slums. However, she was looking for one thing in particular. She had come here for something.
Thanks to her incredible eyesight, Vikal spotted her target: An old man walking down the street. Vikal noticed the man's robes. She observed the pattern upon them.
"That is my target all right. He wears the robes of a disciple of Heles." Vikal leapt off the tower and took flight across the snowy skies.
It was not long before Vikal reached the man. The man had dark grey skin and red eyes. Descending from the skies, she landed behind him. Vikal quietly began to sneak up behind him.
"Nice and quiet now, I must not disappoint the master." Vikal thought.
"I figured one of Lord Veal's servants would show their wretched face soon enough." The old man said without turning around.
Vikal blinked. "Umm… Two things. One: How did you know I was behind you? And two: How did you figure out my identity?"
The old man chuckled. "You forgot to hide your energy as you came behind me."
Vikal wanted to facepalm. "Of all the mistakes I could have made… I am an amaetuer."
"As for the other" The old man continued. "That was just a hunch, but you admitted it. Also." The old man turned around and pointed directly at Vikal's eyes. "I'm not sure if you realized it, but those things are bright."
Vikal blinked several times, turning her eyes to a yellow color with a more normal look. "Mistakes have been made!"
The old man chuckled again. "Not that turning them off will help you now. You are both a loveless fiend, and an amaeteur. Now, young lady, you are clearly out of your league, go home and rethink your life before you get hurt."
Vikal got into a fighting pose. "I have been trained to fight, if my Lord instructs your demise, I will fulfill his orders."
The old man nodded. "Very well." He ripped off his cloak.
Vikal was prepared to be horrified and scarred for life at the sight of a naked old man, but the old man wore armor under his cloak.
The old man made a heart with his hands. "Prepare to taste my love fowl creature!" The old man flexed, and suddenly grew to three times his original size.
Vikal folded her arms. "You know, you're actually not that much different, you're just a lot more- OH MY GOSH!" Vikal yelled as the old man charged her with surprising speed and punched her in the face, sending her flying back.
The old man charged at Vikal again. Vikal turned her eyes back to the pink color and fired beams out of them, pushing the old man back.
"Gah! It appears you actually pack a punch!" The old man clapped his hands. "But you are no match for my love!" The old man threw his arms up into the air. He formed a ball of energy in them.
"Love!" He threw it at Vikal.
Vikal managed to roll out of its way. Vikal responded by firing a red blast from her hand. The man was knocked over by it into a pile of snow. Before Vikal could continue, he jumped up onto his feet.
"Silly girl. My beauty will not be so easily-"
Vikal leapt at the man, grabbed onto his shoulders and took flight. As Vikal flew high up into the air, the man tried to aim his hands at her to fire ki blasts. But it was too late, Vikal was already several hundred meters in the sky. Vikal dropped the man, and then kicked him down so he would plummet to the planet's surface with more force.
The man created a sizeable crater in the middle of the town when he hit the surface. Vikal observed long enough to deduce that he was no longer among the living.
"Getting real tired of you preaching about love. I swear, if he wasn't the most love obsessed person in this universe, I am going to pull out my hair." Vikal noticed people leaving their houses, coming out to check the destruction.
"Disciple of Heles eliminated, time to report back to Lord Veal." Vikal flew off into the moonlight.
Realm of The Kaioshin (Two Days Later)
Pell, the Supreme Kai was currently indulging in his favorite pastime, lifting weights. For Pell, power was important. Pell had a boombox on as he lifted weights, yes, the Supreme Kai of Universe 2 owns a boombox.
Suddenly, a Yardrat teleported into Pell's workout room.
"Lord Pell!"
"WHATINTHENAMEOFZENO!?" Pell fell in over in surprise at this intrusion and threw his weights up into the air-
-Just to land on the Yardrat's foot.
"..." The Yardrat grew a pained look on his face but held in the screams.
Pell noticed who the Yardrat was. "Jimeze! My apologies, just, you can teleport in at the most random of times and I wasn't expecting-"
"It's fine." Jimeze interrupted, holding his foot.
Pell raised an eyebrow. "You don't look fine." He said, looking at Jimeze, who was biting his lip.
"May. I. Take. A. Seat?" Jimeze asked, still biting his lip.
"Go ahead."
Several Minutes Later
Jimeze and Pell had finally taken a seat at a table. Jimeze's foot was wrapped in bandages. Cups of tea sat on the table.
"So tell me" Pell said as he brought a cup of tea to his mouth. "What brings you here." Pell took a sip of the tea.
Jimeze grew a dark look on his face. "Another one of Lady Heles' disciples has been killed."
Upon hearing this, Pell instantly spat out the scalding hot tea. Right into Jimeze's face.
"GAH! Son of a-" Jimeze screamed before stopping himself from swearing. "Next time, Zarbuto is going to do the reporting. Never again."
Pell grew a serious look on his face. "Jimeze, was the disciple killed by a follower of Veal?"
Jimeze rubbed his chin, drops of tea still dripping from his face. "We don't know for sure. But based on recent events it would be safe to assume so."
Pell slammed his fist on the table. Jimeze scooted his chair back in fear of further injury. "Cure that loveless fiend!" Pell yelled. "That's the fourth murder this week! That vile sorcerer won't stop until he has eradicated all love from our beautiful universe! We should have destroyed him when we had the chance!"
Jimeze scooted forward. "With all due respect, Lord Pell. What's stopping Lady Heles from destroying the fiend right now?"
Pell grimaced. "Veal is a sorcerer. He uses some ancient sto cloak his ship. It cannot be found normally, only by someone who has boarded it before."
"And all of the people who have boarded it before happen to be his followers." Jimeze finished for Pell.
Pell nodded. "That is correct. We cannot find him, even if we wanted to. The fiend will just continue his crusade to annihilate the love from our universe without anyone to stop him."
"Perhaps." Jimeze spoke up. "We should put our focus on defending Heles' disciples."
Pell rubbed his beard. "That could work, although we have no idea where he shall strike next."
Jimeze pulled up a tablet. "We have noticed a pattern in his recent string of attacks." Jimeze pulled up a map of planets. "We believe the next attack will take place on one of these seven planets."
Pell shook his head. "Seven planets? There's no way we can-"
Jimeze interrupted. "Send one knight or one maide to each planet. That will cover all seven."
"It will." Pell stroked his beard. "But you have to consider that we don't know how strong Veal's servants are. This is a big risk."
Jimeze nodded. "But it is also a big opportunity. Imagine if we captured one of Veal's servants. They could lead us right to his ship."
Pell stood up. "This is dangerous. But it's the best option we have. I shall inform Lady Heles at once!" Pell left the room.
Jimeze breathed a sigh of relief "Thank Heles! I didn't get injured again!"
Authors Note: I've always been interested in Vikal, her design originally made me think she was going to be a villainous character, but that didn't turn out to be the case, she ended up being really nice and really cute. I love her so much! So, seeing her closeness with the Maidens made me think she was originally a villain who was redeemed, and thus, I'm writing a story about her.
As always, constructive criticism is appreciated.
