Fall had come; the leaves were a crumble,
the air was fresh and the bees a bumble.
The new Hokage walked out on the street,
smiling down happily, he tried to look at his feet.

He was carrying boxes, the last he suspected,
He could finally sit down, or so he expected.
The door was left open; he made his way in,
He set the box down, piled high as his chin.

"Hinata!" He called, shutting the door,
"That's the last one, there aren't any more!"

He yawned and stretched from the long days work,
He was a husband and Hokage, so no time to shirk.
His wife came through, hugging him tightly,
"Thank you, Naruto!" she said, smiling brightly.

He gave her a kiss, and then took her hand,
"It was nothing at all, nothing I couldn't withstand!
Besides, its the day we start our lives as one,
I'll forever be your man, and you'll be my hun."
She giggled politely at her silly blonde man,
And the quest to unpack the boxes began.

It took until midnight, and things still were a mess,
There were still lots to do; there had been little progress.
So Naruto sighed, putting his hands to his head,
"We'll never finish tonight, I'm going to bed."
Hinata agreed, and both stood up with a yawn,
they were quite tired, all energy gone.

They lay down in bed, their eyes ready to close,
"We shall finish it tomorrow, I suppose.
But for now let us sleep, until daylight shall we be woken,
I love you my darling, our bond shall never be broken."

Hinata blushed and kissed him once more,
"And you, Naruto, are all I could ask for,
I'll hold you close to my heart, as long as I live,
My love eternal, and all I can give."
