Chloe blinked as she set down her purse, staring at the obvious cat toy on the table that caused her to step closer, squinting to focus on what exactly it was.
She stared at the black and gold striped mouse with a bell hanging off a gold string: a tail.
"Uh, Adrien?" She shifted, staring down at their black and white kitty cat, Queenie, because she refused to name her Lady, just in case it sounded too much like Ladybug; Queenie mirrored her own superhero name, so it was a little less strange.
He entered the room with green eyed innocence, "What's up, Chlo?"
"Why do we have a bee hybrid cat toy with a bell tail?" She half grumbled, gazing down at the toy.
"It's just a mouse." Adrien beamed, "I saw it at the store the other day, and doesn't it look like a bee? I had to get black and yellow, and it has a Cat Noir bell!"
"You dork." Chloe mumbled as she stared at the cat toy.
"Our kitty's named after you, so may be she'll like the cute, little toy. I've named him, Pollen." Adrien chirped, looking way too proud of himself.
Chloe sighed, "Adrien Agreste, you don't just name cat toys."
"Why not?" He smirked, and Chloe suddenly wanted to smack the smirk off of his face; it was too Cat Noir.
"I don't imagine you'll stop calling it Pollen, will you?" Chloe really shouldn't give up, should she?
She'd had a long day at work, sorting through paperwork and balancing her own side lawyer job as well; her stay at home husband had clearly just gotten back from the market or store or somewhere that sells homemade cat toys.
"I can't help it. It fits too well." His beaming smile almost had Chloe groaning.
"Just don't name our first kid after our Kwamis or our superhero alter egos." Chloe grumbled, speaking with a slightly tired mumble, hand resting contently over her stomach.
"I won't." The ex-model smiled as he bent down to pick up Queenie; the black and white kitty squirming slightly in his arms, still wary of being held.
"Adrikins, she doesn't like that much, does she?" She teased, dryly stating her old nickname that she barely uses anymore.
"She loves me." Adrien beamed, ignoring his wife's sarcasm, "She can't help but look up to her kitty owner."
"Why did I let you talk me through getting a cat?" Chloe sighed, shaking her head; she'd never been much of an animal person, too much fur on her clothes even though she'd sort of gotten used to it in recent years.
"Because you love me, and you're a secret cat lover." Adrien teases playfully, leaning forward to kiss Chloe on the lips and relax against her.
