Heavily Referenced Suicide! BE WARNED!

Only his father was worthy of his own comfort. Lloyd missed him. It's been so long since he had left.

"Come on now!" His father greeted him with open arms at the bottom of the tower he stood at. "I promise that I will catch you when you fall!"

The sun hit his face. Lloyd felt ecstatic to finally be reunited with his father again. He counted.

3...2...1…

He ran and jumped, letting the wind carry him down.

"Spread your wings, my son!" His father shouted. "I'm here for you!"

Lloyd felt the tears rush out of his eyes and he smiled. He was finally going to be free.

Two golden wings manifested from his back, large and bright. Still, Lloyd let himself fall.

All the pain, the suffering, the feelings of hopelessness, it was gone. Lloyd didn't care. He never did.

And at the bottom, he saw his father's face, arms opened wide. And at the bottom, they met each other.

"Dad!" Lloyd embraced his father. "I missed you, so, so much!"

"As did I," Garmadon wiped his son's tears from his face. "Shh, it's okay, you're safe now, my boy. I promise. I won't let go of your hand,"

"Can we go home?" The Golden Child hiccupped from a burning throat.

"Yes, my son. We can go home," The old man smiled and manifested his own wings of bright purple.

Then they took off, disappearing into the late-morning sun.
