"… laugh hard, run fast, be kind." He said "Doctor, I let you go."

Their arms spread out, the Doctor burned as they regenerated. A pure white energy flaming about them as they transformed. Suddenly there was silence, except for a ring which fell to the floor with a gentle jingle. She opened her eyes and looked around her, searching.

"The face that this face saw…"

They had been so lost, her last few faces, they had needed someone to help them grow, learn.

Rose. The girl who made her better and helped her after the war.

Amy. The girl who waited, her friend.

Clara. Her impossible girl, the other half of the Hybrid.

She continued to search for eyes staring back of her but kept being drawn to the bright orange light in the centre of the control room.

The Tardis.

They stared at each other, the time ship and her thief; The Doctor and her Tardis. It seemed to the Doctor that the Tardis as beckoning her, encouraging her to take a step forward. She did and stared at her knew form. She smirked,

"Oh, brilliant!" and looked down, pressing one of the buttons.

CRASH!

The alarm bell started ringing as the Tardis jerked as if the Doctor had stuck her finger into an open wound. The Tardis flayed about in pain, her systems damaged by the burst of energy from the Doctor's energy. This was followed by said time lord removing all the safety settings from the mainframe - including those covering what to do during a regeneration.

The Doctor fell and tried to hang onto something, anything, trying to get a purchase with her foot. She could do this, she had to stay with her old girl, to be there for her, as she was for him no her. She held on tighter as she felt papers and books falling out of the door behind her. She looked down at the misty planet with lights bellow her. Her second home. She grabbed hold of some more leavers on the dash board, causing the Tardis to move up and down as though it was shaking her out.

She fell, screaming as she did, leaving her Tardis behind.

The Doctor felt her hearts break as she watched her Tardis burn and the heard the engines screaming as they phased in and out of reality. Leaving her alone as she fell to earth.
