AN: A drabble, that came into my head while drawing. Please review! It would make my day.
If someone would ask the Doctor what he loved the most about Earth the answer wasn't the people, not exactly, but it was the fantasy, and most importantly, their brilliance.
When he had been younger, some centuries, he had always dreamed about the landscape, and colours on Gallifrey, not the people, the people that were so stuck in their was, but about the colours around him, and his friends, those wonderful and amazing friends that he had, who weren't as amazing any longer. They had fallen into stereotypes (a typically human word, stereotypes), and no longer appreciated the beauty around them.
He blamed the Untempered Schism, the Master hadn't been the same since, nor the Rani.
And on Earth, where they didn't have as amazing, and brilliant and colourful landscapes like on Gallifrey, which you expected to turn on the imagination, the most boring person on Earth had more fantasy than the Time Lords.
The Doctor loved that, he really did, and their artists were amazing too. They didn't just draw a boring flower, just exactly like it looked, as they did on Gallifrey and then killed the beauty of the most beautiful flowers imaginable, but they added more colour, and used their fantasy.
According to him, a word synonymous with Earth was fantasy, and the fact that they always adapted, okay, so there was a lot of words that were synonymous with Earth.
But their fantasy and sense of adventure was what he liked the most, the only Time Lord (read: Time Lady) who was like that was Romana, or Romanadvoratrelundar. And that was a brilliant example of the Time Lords (read: Time Lady). Such long, and boring, and drab, and he could go on forever, name for an amazing woman.
