Collide
Anime: Naruto
Pairing: SasukexNaruto, because they are the best couple in the entire anime.
Based on the song Collide by Howie Day. It reminded me of a scenario where Naruto would confess his feelings to Sasuke before going off on a mission. I've been meaning to write a oneshot on them for awhile now. So here it is.
Anyway … onward with the crappy, cliché oneshot. Please, no flames. I know I suck.
Disclaimer: I obviously don't own this wonderful anime, because if I did, it would definitely be a yaoi and all the girls in it would die painful deaths.

I'm open, you're closed
Where I follow, you'll go
I worry I won't see your face
Light up again
"Sasuke… I'm … sorry ... I … figured you should know … before anything could ever happen to both of us … it's ok if you don't feel the same for me, just please … let me be here with you like this, forever … " the blonde boy stared at the ground, a gentle tear falling down his cheek.
Even the best fall down sometimes
Even the wrong words seem to rhyme
I somehow find
You and I collide
"No, dobe … don't be sorry …" the raven-haired boy moved closer. He placed a hand on the other boy's face, gently wiping away the tear.
"Why, Sasuke … why won't you let me be sorry?" said the blonde, now placing a hand over the boy's.
"Because of this."
"What?-"
And before the blonde could say any further, he felt cold, yet soft lips crash against his own.
"Sasuke …" the boy whispered into the kiss, savoring the sweet taste of the other boy.
The raven pulled away. "That's why you shouldn't be sorry."
I'm quiet you know
You make a first impression
I've found I'm scared to know I'm always on your mind
The blonde smiled, letting another tear fall down his cheek. But this time, the tear was out of happiness. He reached out, wrapping his arms around his new-found lover.
"Why didn't you tell me sooner?" Naruto whispered into his chest.
"Because I was afraid of being rejected by you." Sasuke nuzzled the blonde, gently caressing his back.
Don't stop here
I lost my place
I'm close behind
"Never in a million years." Said the blonde.
And finally, Naruto smiled the happiest smile of his entire life.
The beginning of a new chapter in my life.
