It was a simple question he had asked the spirit one morning. And so the spirit thought upon this. Perhaps he would like to know what the warmth of the sun felt like. Or the satisfaction of having a nice meal or a nice, long sleep.
But here, looking at this beautiful world around him, how the people here seemed so free here, so happy, he realized what his one wish would be.
"I…I think I would wish to be human."
The blue-haired boy snorted, polishing his metal winglet.
"Well, that's a stupid wish."
