This is a poem set after Elphaba sends Galinda back to Shiz. They are remeniscing years later, and thinking about Wizomania among other things.
I look at our picture,
And see what once was.
I see your beauty and power;
Strength you beam every day.
You were stronger than I was,
You stood when I couldn't.
I regret ever leaving you
How I wish I had stayed.
This picture holds the past;
The memory of us.
How can we ever go back?
I know we will find a way.
When will I see you again?
How long will I wait?
To feel you lips on mine?
To hear those three words you say?
I love you my darling,
My blonde, sweet thing.
One day Glinda,
I will be brave enough to say.
I love you Elphie;
My beautiful angel in disguise.
One day I'll be with you,
One day, but not today.
