Summary: Tony and Ziva unknowingly provide just the distraction Gibbs' needs in interogation.
Disclaimer: I sadly did not get NCIS for Christmas. I got Glee CD and Candy.
A/N: So, this is a random DRABBLE that I needed to write as I was in the silly mood and current angsty story was getting to my head. That, and I am right now stuck helping a friend figure out guy problems, and I don't like doing that. Whatever though. I'll get better. :)
"I wonder if he ever slips up. Like, in his mind."
Tony was watching Gibbs to an interrogation, and was contemplating. Ziva stood next to him, her hands folded under her armpits and a serious look on her face. She was trying to ignore Tony.
"Shh." She said again, listening as the suspect argued with Gibbs.
"You've got to believe me! I didn't kill him! Why would I do that? He was my best friend."
"Like I haven't heard that before." Gibbs said, pulling out some pictures. Tony stepped forward, pushing his nose against the glass.
"Brr." He said, and Ziva fought back the urge to laugh. He was blatantly trying to get her attention, and it wasn't going to work.
"Do you recognize this?"
The suspect looked at the picture Gibbs handed him, and his face fell slightly. Ziva knew that Gibbs had him now.
"This means nothing."
"This means nothing." Tony mocked, reaching over and flicking Ziva's hair. She didn't look at him, determined to ignore his attempts to get her attention.
"This means you killed him!" Gibbs yelled, and the suspect flinched under the older mans stare.
"Ah, I can feel the temperature drop. Need a jacket?" Tony said, his nose still pushed up against the one way window. Ziva didn't answer, and she soon found Tony's suit jacket over her head.
"I didn't!" Gibbs glared at the suspect.
Suddenly, both men jumped, as there was a rather loud bang from behind the glass. Gibbs turned around to see the glass shake, and some rather pained yelps sound. Gibbs thought it sounded an awful lot like Tony, and then he heard it again and knew it had to be. Smirking, he heard Ziva yell something, and then Tony yell in pain. It sounded as if they were having a fight.
"Um." The suspect said, and Gibbs put up his finger. He walked out of the room, and was surprised to see Tony and Ziva disappearing down the hall and around the corner. He walked into the viewing room, looking at the control agent.
"Do I want to know?" He asked, and the man shrugged.
"Probably not."
Gibbs shrugged, moving out of the room and back into interrogation. The suspect looked even more nervous and Gibbs realized he could use that momentary distraction to get a confession. Sitting down, he smiled a calm smile. Gibbs would have to thank Tony and Ziva later for their help, even if it was a distraction.
"Do you know what torture feels like?"
A/N: Oh, very very short. It's a small drabble. I hope I did that last line right. :) always fretting. Reviews would be appreciated.
