Once Again Warrior

If you saw me when I was born,
You'd be proud, just like me,
I would be the next super saiyan,
It was my blood, my fate, my destiny.

If you saw me when I was a child,
You'd be impressed, because I was strong,
Although I was foolish enough to think I was needed,
When I was just a puppet all along.

If you saw me when I was a teenager,
You'd realize just how weak I'd become,
I was still promising myself I'd make it some day,
Though deep down that warrior had gone.

If you saw me when I was a young adult,
You'd see what had become of my pride,
I didn't know it but I had given up,
Been beaten down from the inside.

But if you were to see me now,
You wouldn't even begin to recognize me,
Because now the pride's held safely by a family man,
And I'm once again the warrior I was born to be.
