Okay, never in my entire life have i ever written anything vaguely romantic, so since i'm writing a romance fanfic (Where the wind may lead- Seiya/Haruka), i thought it might be a good idea to get some practise and see what you all think, i decided to use my second fave Sailor Moon couple Usagi/Seiya. So here it is my very first romantic one shot... or at least it's meant to be heh.
She shouldn't... She knew she shouldn't. 'why' she screamed inwardly 'it's your life,' but that wasn't true, it wasn't just her life, it was everyone's her family, her people... everyone she cared about. She had a duty, a destiny. There were rules.
He knew this too and still his dark, sparkling blue eyes bore into her own softer aqua ones, just centimetres from her face, and filled with an intense love, a hope and a passion, for her... all of it only for her. She knew that she should look away, push back, get out of there, end this torture, but something held her gaze. It was as if... as if without words he was pleading with her to stay, and she simply couldn't refuse. No, not that she couldn't refuse, deep down, she didn't want to refuse him, or his love. Common sense was doing battle with her heart and so far it seemed her heart was winning through.
Her eyelashes fluttered slightly as his face moved even closer, his steady breath blowing softly on her face. As his strong arms tightened slightly around her waist drawing her body into his she desperately tried to concentrate, on her friends, her future husband, her kingdom... her daughter; but in his presence they all seemed so blurred. Like a lovely dream that she had once had, one she couldn't quite remember; even as she tried, he closed the remaining distance between them.
A small gasp left her as his lips brushed gently against her own and he whispered, "Odango." The same old nickname, the one that had, for so long, only ever served to infuriate her, now sounded like music; a gentle lullaby that put her doubts instantly to sleep.
'Common sense be damned,' She thought, as she reached one delicate hand to touch his face.
'Hang destiny, hang the rules,' said her mind as her eyes flitted shut and she whispered in response "Seiya," she knew that she would never get this chance again.
'Just this once,'
That was her last desperate thought as her mind shut down and she gave in.
Ya it's short... i might try to pad it out... but i need serious help.
So REVIEW and don't worry about being cruel i need to know perfectly honestly how brilliant/good/okay/bad/rubbish/absolutely and totally not worthy of your time, this was.
