Hi everyone. My life is chaos, I haven't had too much time to write at all. I do have two stories in my head though, and partially on paper, but it'll be a while yet before they're posted. But until then I thought I'd share this with you. In one of my classes, my teacher taught us about "Sound poetry." She said that you can convey a person, place, thing, or event buy using the sounds associated with it. Well in my limited time, I decided to try my hand at it and came out with this. Engine igniting
Boys laughing
Seats thunking
Engine revving
Tires screeching
Dust and rocks tinking
Wheels turning
Boys bantering
Siren screaming
Creek trickling
Boys chuckling
Ramp calling
Car accelerating
Mound crunching
Engine roaring
Boys "Yeehaw"ing
Dixie playing
Car cathunking
Ground crunching

Metal thumping
