When the strange sickness arose in Ponyville, the 6 ponies decided to go to Zecora's in attempt to find a cure. They were in the Everfree Forest when a mysterious figure flew overhead. It blew an overwhelming breeze over them.
"Oh, dear. What was that?" questioned Rarity.
" I don't know. But we have to investigate, girls. Whatever it was might have caused this sickness," said Twilight.
"Or we could just panic and run," whispered Fluttershy.
"Ugh!" Rainbow Dash groaned.
The six of them bolted after the mysterious figure to a tree house. The figure disappeared into the wide trunk, and they went in after "it". The six of them cornered it and started moving toward it. The cloak it was wearing blew off as it dashed over their heads. "It" was a white mere with black and blue curly mane! She flew out of the tree and vanished into the Everfree forest.
"I'll get her!" roared Rainbow Dash.
"Hold on!" said Applejack as she held on to Rainbow's tail.
"She was an Alicorn!" Fluttershy declared.
"ALICORN PARTY 2!" screamed Pinkie Pie.
"That's strange! Only princesses are alicorns!" said Twilight.
"Oh, she looked absolutely darling! Her cutie mark was of the four essential elements!" Rarity said dignified.
"We have to figure this out!" said Twilight.
"Investigation time!" Pinkie Pie screamed enthusiastically.
They all stayed there through the night searching for any clues as of who this mere might be. In the morning, they were so tired they fell asleep in the mere's house. As soon as she knew they were asleep, the mere quietly walked in her home and retrieved the essentials she would need to stay in the Everfree Forest. The only detail she missed was that Fluttershy wasn't asleep at all! After the mere walked out, Fluttershy finally trotted after her after a lot of consideration. She knew she just had to do this! It would be better to do it alone anyway. The mere walked in a small clearing where there was an overhanging off of a tree. She laid under it, and that was when Fluttershy approached her.
