Angel's Point of View

"Here we go, my name is Angel, that kid sitting over there with his friends is, my brother, Alex. Not that kid, the kid with; black hair, green and blue eyes, a touch of freckles, and pale skin like mine. He is wearing; a white undershirt with a navy blue vest, blue jeans, and black converse...Hey! Don't give me that look! What?"

"And... what about you?"

"Oh yeah... thanks reader..."

"Now stop breaking the 4th wall!"

"NEVER!"

"Okay, back to the story; anyway, my name is Angel, you already know that. I have mermaid hair, now what is mermaid hair you may ask? I have nearly all of the shades of red in my hair, its pretty awesome. I have pale skin like Alex, but no freckles; my eyes are very unique, one is green with red mixed in, and the other is just black. I know, that's impossible; well, tell that to my face! Okay, that was a bit rude; as you might tell, anything and everything distracts me, and that is why this is Alex's and I's last chance for a foster parent together. I don't know if I can keep myself together, they didn't find anything wrong with me, I guess I'm just too cheerful? Back to descriptions, I am wearing; black leggings, a white flowing shirt with a silver necklace, and lastly, a pair of black boots."

3rd Person

(Narrator Voice) Angelina Stuart was born into a happy family in Angelous Oaks, California; everything was perfect for our little girl. When she was 5 she gained a brother who they named Alexander, not even a year later a horrible flood destroyed their home. The family had no where else to call home but the streets for the neighbors had the same damage done. The homeless shelters were so full that they could not host anymore families, leaving them on the streets. Her mother grew sick and shortly died from tuberculous; leaving Angel, Alex, and their father on their own. 2 years later, their father was murdered, they watched it with their own eyes. The last words their father spoke were,"Run, I will be with mother." They obeyed, running as fast as their 7 and 5 year old legs can move, they ran till they couldn't run anymore. When they found a safe place to stay for the night, which ended up being an alley, Angel promised Alex something that would be broken in the future,"I will never leave you brother, you and I, will always stick together." She didn't realize that was an impossible promise, once you promise something, the world goes out of its way to break it. The next day a person walking her dog saw something in the alley, she walked closer and saw two children who looked like they hadn't had a good meal or a shower in years; she didn't realize that the look was true. She called the police and here they are now, hopping from foster to foster.
