She took a deep breath and stepped forward. She walked towards Zero, who was grasping onto a gun in his right hand. His index finger was on the trigger ready to shoot and his face was plastered with anger and hatred. Yuki's life flashed right before her eyes as she got closer.

With every step, you get closer to death

Her head was spinning as she attempted to stay as calm as she could.

Your fate is looking you right in the eyes

The pureblood was petrified with the bloody rose in front of her but she never looked back.

You are so close. There is no turning back

"Your long life has come to an end, vampire" Zero glared into her blood red orbs slowly closing as she took one last breath.

BAM!

Yuki opened her eyes to see that he not shot her… he had shot himself right in the heart. He clutched his chest and fell to the ground screaming in utter pain. He did it because he just couldn't bear to kill Yuki. He knew kaname would kill him for it.

"Zero!" Yuki screamed with tears filling her eyes and streaming out like waterfalls. She let out loud, high-pitched screams that could of broken windows. She slumped to her knees desperately trying to catch her breath from crying while her face turned red and tear- stained. She couldn't bear to lift her head to look at the lifeless man in front of her. She looked at the pocket watch she kept in her pocket and knew she had to go home to her beloved Kaname but she couldn't bear to leave Zero here. She walked over to the warm gun and took it out his grasp, crying more than she ever has before. She took the pistol and aimed it. She closed her eyes and took a breath.

I love you kaname. But I have to do this, for Zero

BAM

Kaname was close by when all of this was going on but he was oblivious to what was really happening. He turned the corner and saw Zero dead on the cold ground with Yuki slumped beside him…lifeless

Kaname, I regret this but I couldn't bear to leave Zero. I don't love him but he has been a huge part of my life forever…like you.
