Hold me close
(Gavner X Kurda)
Gavner stood in the frame of Kurda's doorway, and gazed at the back of the blonde vampire. Kurda's long, beautiful silky hair kissed the bare skin of his back, and splayed out over his shoulders over his hard body. He was bent down, drawing his maps, but seemed to be doing it with great tension and difficulty. Gavner knew this by the way Kurda's shoulders sagged over the chestnut table. Feeling very tired, and somehow neglected, Gavner walked into the shady room and stopped in the middle. Kurda's room was simple, but amazingly so... heart warming. Torches were alight in all four corners, emitting a romantic orange glow into the dark cave of a room.
Gavner grazed his bottom lip with his teeth, biting on the thought of going closer. He wanted just Kurda's strong hold to sooth his deflated heart, Kurda's naturally red juicy lips to kiss away the ache in his bones, and Kurda's ocean blue eyes to sweep him off his feet. He only wanted Kurda.
Finally after a silent moment of Kurda's pencil scratching over paper, Kurda sighed, dropped his pencil and turned around tiredly. He stopped in his tracks when he saw Gavner standing in the middle of his room grinning boyishly. Immediately Kurda's own soft cheeks stretched into a smile.
'Howdy partner!' Gavner laughed. His hazel eyes twinkled down at the blue eyed angel.
'Hi there, Gavner' Kurda said. His soft, musical voice caused Gavner's heart to weep.
Kurda got up off the chair and stealthily slid over to Gavner. He put his arms around his brown haired friend and whispered 'I need a real break.'
Gavner smiled and said 'me too.'
They stepped apart but still held each other's hands.
Gavner stared deep into Kurda's eyes, wishing that he and Kurda were more than just friends. The need was now so strong that he felt that he could no longer hold in his true feelings. He was sure that tonight was the night that everything would change. Yet, the nerves biting his stomach away were also biting his confidence away. He was still too weak.
Gripping Kurda's hand hard, he asked 'Do you want to talk?'
Kurda's eyes delved deep into Gavner's, his blue heavens swirling and melting into Gavner's chocolate brown shy gaze.
'No.' Kurda said gruffly.
When Gavner began to look rejected, Kurda smiled softly and leant in close to Gavner.
He took Gavner in his arms and said 'talking can be done later.'
With that he bent in and placed his warm lips over Gavner's and passionately kissed him. Gavner soon melted into Kurda's warm embrace. A small tear rolled down is cheek, and still kissing him, Kurda wiped it away.
They broke away from the kiss.
'Just hold me close,' was all Gavner said and smiled.
Kurda kissed him again, the feeling of love overwhelming him.
'I love you, Gavner,' he said, then kissed him deeply once more.
'I love you too,' Gavner whispered huskily and closed his eyes...
