This should be my first solo multi chaptered story :D I haven't written any of the other chapters yet, so if you like this story, you should definitely review it. Constructive critisism is also good :)
Whispy Woods had been in this game for a long time now. Each time that Kirby started a new game, he would plod along through the easy level 1, to come face-to-face with Whispy.
He was a large apple tree that lived in the forest. His main attacks included blowing out puffs of air and dropping his fruit at Kirby. Sometimes his nose was sharpened to stab Kirby if he ran into it. Other times he might drop things besides apples, like Gordos or bugs, he even poisoned his apples once.
Whispy was the first real boss that Kirby would encounter each game. He would fall from the treetops to land right in front of him. Then Kirby would walk all over him, leaving him sitting in his little spot, crying, while Kirby then proceeded to level 2.
He once tried boxing Kirby between two of himself, theoretically doubling his threat. The problem with this was the fact that if you double nothing, you still get nothing. All that Kirby had to do was throw a barrage of attacks at one of the Whispys, dodge a couple of whatever was dropped from the trees, and then defeat the second tree before the next attack. Both trees then sat there crying with each other, while Kirby moved on.
Whispy sat in his clearing, while he pondered his life's story. How was a level 1 boss supposed to excel with a hero like Kirby constantly pummelling him? There was a fluffy, white cloud out there who was a better boss than him.
He had been well known as a pushover boss for years now. He frowned; he must be able to do something about it though. When other enemies had problems with the way things were, they launched some sort of revenge game. King Dedede had done it when Kirby took back all the food that Dedede had stolen in the first place. Meta Knight had started a scheme of his own, claiming that it was because the residents of Dreamland were too lazy. When Whispy thought about it, Meta Knight seemed to consistently be one of the very last bosses of a lot of the games, but never the main one. In 'Revenge of Meta Knight' he was the biggest boss of the game; perhaps that was the real reason for his revenge.
Whispy then decided that it was time for his revenge. He would do whatever it took to make himself the ultimate boss.
All of Dreamland would tremble in fear of the Revenge of Whispy Woods.
…Doesn't really have the same ring to it, does it?
