The Third Runner- Bufrumm Returns

It was late September when the announcement was first declared. The BUFRUMM army was declared annihilated. The announcement Was soon followed by an earth and Mars treaty, declaring that both planets would not create another orbital frame, and all current orbital frames would be melted down and the metatron would be reverted into power generators for Earth and Mars.

About 2 years later, there was, an accident and two generators in the alliance. One was on Earth, The other, Mars. Both sides blamed the incidents on each other. It didn't take long until the fighting restarted. The metatron generators were used for mass-producing LEV's at faster rates. Both sides never made an orbital frame.

Then it was announced that Mar's might have to use a nuclear strike on earth. That was 1 year ago. The nuke never got launched. That was the story from late September 2540 (I don't remember the date that the second game took place, forgot to check) until October 23rd, 2544.

Since then I've been recruited into the Martian army, I wish I wasn't. On my way to the armory building, I saw something glowing in the corner of my eye. It seemed too bright to be a crystal in the sun, so I checked it out. Down a chasm, I found a large box. I saw the shape of a hand, so I touched it and it opened. Inside the Box was a terrifying LEV only it was different. The cockpit for one was more heavily armored, I opened it and I stepped in to look around.

??? -Welcome runner. Please give me your name.

William-W-William Grand?

??? -William, may I call you Willy?

Willy- okay... who are you?

??? -I am the battle A.I. for this orbital frame, "Keening and Sunder" but you may call me Sam, or Sammy.

Willy- All right so you're an...(an explosion cuts Will's sentence short) What the?

Sammy- Not to worry, only an eight LEV assault.

Will- EIGHT!?!?!? That's more LEV's than we have within two sectors!

Sam- Like I said, not to worry, this frame is way more than just capable of taking out those LEV's, even without a pilot.

Will- Okay, than do your stuff and blow'em up.

Sam- Sorry I can't, (A series of explosions followed by yelling and the powering up of anti air turrets) you have to get out of the cockpit for me to go onto auto fight mode, or you have to be unconscious.

Will-Then tell me, how do I pilot this thing?!

Sam- okay, okay! Geese, you don't have to yell in my ear. okay, put your hands on the two red glowing grips on either side of you. After you do so, your mind will interface with my combat systems and you can control the frame with your mind. (another explosion)

Will- Okay!(he reached out for the orbs, as he touched them, they began to glow green and the cockpit shut. The frame came to life and began to look at it's hands) Wow! I can see what this frame sees! Let's see, Dual photon coated blades, two reactors, vector trap, zero shift?

Sam- Oh That, the frame uses compressed space to move at remarkable speeds.

Will-(activates the switch to open the cube the rest of the way, the land above crumbles and falls into the cube, and the frame bursts out of the ground) Target sighted, and...hmmm... Let's try photon ball.

A large amount of energy surges into the frame. Will raises the frame's arm and charges a large ball of energy above his head. At the size of the main body, he tosses the ball at extreme speeds and destroys a LEV in a huge burst of photon. The excess energy taking out two more LEV's and damaging three.
