So an explanation is in order before I go any further. What is the point of this drabble? Well, it's an idea for an rp. An idea. If you like where I'm going with this than clickety clack on that nifty little review button and tell me that this is the kind of fanfiction that you'd like to read. So now, hoping you enjoy what I spent hours devising...a not even 100 word drabble that'll hopefully evolve into more if my readers like.
Raito and L were as different as night and day, this became obvious to the task force the first day the two even layed eyes on each other because of the constant arguments that ocurred between the two. L was constantly accusing Raito of being Kira, changing the percentage and likelihood of the college student being the criminal every day, hour, and minute. Even the simplest move could doom Raito to jail, signing, sealing, and delivering his fate as Kira.
Raito constantly denied being the criminal. He made sure that it wasn't obvious, thinking of every possible way that L could unwind the lies and making sure that there were no leads created. He intentionally left false trails to confuse the dark eyed detective, to keep himself from prosecution. L still accused him however. Thankfully, it seemed as if he had yet to discover the truth. . . for the most part at least.
Another day passed by, another day that the two were handcuffed together in L's crazed attempts at proving Raito to be Kira. The sun was now rising into it's usual position in the sky, casting it's warm glow on the sleepy Japanese city, waking each resident with promise of a bright and sunny day perfect for a picnic.
Amber eyes fluttering open, one Raito Yagami stared into pools resembling ink adjacent do his own. It appeared as if these eyes were thinking at the moment, but lo and behold seconds later the owner of these eyes spoke.
"Good morning Kira." The voice said as the male laying next to Raito moved into his usual sitting position, thumb pushed lightly against his lips. The eyes continued to stare at Raito, as if they could see into his inner being. A weird thought.
Raito grit his teeth together. "I told you once, and I'll tell you again. I'm not Kira." He grumbled. L shook his head, more of the messy black locks falling into his face. "But that is where you are wrong, Raito-kun is Kira."
"Am not, where's your proof?" Raito questioned, thinking he'd managed to end the argument before it started. But that was where he was wrong. When this question was asked, L suddenly looked satisfied, and quite smug.
"Raito-kun talks in his sleep." L declared matter-of-factly, sealing Raito's fate as Kira.
