Disclaimer: i do not own star wars or Santa Claus is coming to town.
My dad and I came up with this story for my younger brother when he was curious about santa. Of course, he's obsessed with star wars, so it only makes sense. I hope you like it!
Master Yoda sat on the ground, surrounded by a group of younglings. The room was dark and the holographic projector was on. They were looking at the universes, the stars, and the planets. "Master," a young boy started, "what happen to all of the jedis? Are you the only master left?"
Yoda looked at the boy, pondered for a minute, then answered, "Left, on other is. Where he is, I do not know."
Another youngling spoke up. "You do not know what happen to him? What happened, master?"
Yoda looked at all of his younglings. "Come, around you shall sit. Tell you, I will, about Jedi Nicolai and his adventures." The younglings gathered around the little, green master, and this was the story he told.
Along time ago... In a galaxy far, far away...
The Jedi are under attack. Emperor Palpatine has ordered the clone army to destroy the Republic. All the Jedi are being destroyed. There is no more hope for the Republic if all the Jedi are destroyed.
One jedi is lucky to escape. Jedi Nicolai receives a transmission from the jedi temple about the attacks and manages to warp into hyperspace to a different galaxy.
The galaxy was called the Milky Way and Jedi Nicolai crash landed on a strange planet called Earth. He crashed on the northern part of the planet, where it was snowing, and managed to bury the ship in the snow. Nicolai walked into town and took up board in the local inn. From there he observed the town. The children did not play, they worked. The citizens did not smile, or laugh, or show signs of happiness. Nicolai pulled on of the children aside and asked, "Youngling, why do you not play, or smile, or laugh?"
"Because, the child answered, "Beurger-Meister Meister-Beurger declares that no one shall play, laugh, or smile. Only work may be done."
"Only work?" Nicolai asked.
"Yes, only work." The boy responded, returning to his work. Nicolai sat and thought for a few minutes. He knew had had to do something for these people. But how?
Months passed and Nicolai finally came up with an idea. He built himself a little shop, away from town, near his ship. Nicolai began building toys for the children He had gotten to know each and every one of them. To the children, he was Old Nic. but now, it was getting later in the year. The season they called "winter" had arrived. Nicolai decided that he would deliver the toys in the middle of winter, in the last month of the year.
Nicolai dug up his ship and began preparing for the flight. It took a total of twenty four days to prepare and pack and evaluate how he would deliver the presents. He decided to go down the chimneys, in order to not raise suspicion.
It took Nicolai all night to deliver the gifts and return to his little shop. Later that morning, Nicolai decided to go back to town. Upon entering, he saw all of the children, outside, laughing and playing with their toys, while their parents gleamed with happiness, all celebrating this great day. The joy on all of the faces' made Nicolai smile.
