Jason smirked as he moved his pawn foreword, and I frowned. I was always good at chess, but that was just in my world.

"So, why did you decide to come back?" he inquired, as I studied the chess board.

"I'm just visiting." I informed as I moved my own pawn foreword. Jason chuckled at my statement as he moved his piece to capture one of my pawns.

"You do know that all I need to do is drawl my gun and keep you here. I could kill you right now if I really wanted to." he informed. I smiled and captured one of his pawns.

"But you won't." Jason leaned in close to my face, our nose's almost touching, his eyes growing dark.

"You sure about that?" he said in a threatening voice.

"Positive." I stated. A moment passed and Jason started to chuckle. His chuckling then grew to full out laughter. He leaned back on his chair, and sighed contently.

"It's cute how you're right." I rolled my eyes, and he moved another one of his pawns into position.

"So why did you want to visit me? Was it just because I asked you to in my letter?" he questioned. I took another one of his pawns.

"What do you think?" I inquired. Jason raised an eyebrow, and then studied the board to make his move while saying,

"So there's another reason huh?" He captured another pawn of mine. I sighed heavily as I stared at the board, pondering my next move.

"Hmmm… don't tell me, let me guess. You missed me." he smirked. I looked up at him with a scowl. "Okay, maybe not." I pushed my pawn foreword, hoping he wouldn't notice I just put it in a position to get captured.

Unfortunately he did and captured it with ease.

"Is it possibly because you want to get to know yourself?" he questioned.

"I'm nothing like you." I growled as I moved a pawn.

"But you're pretty close." he smirked as he took out my king. "Checkmate." I looked down at my feet. I had just lost, and he was right. At times, I felt lost. And unfortunately the only person I could turn to who was remotely like me was Jason.

"I knew I was right." he chuckled. "I won this game."

"Won't win the next." I smirked.

"So sure about that?" he questioned.

"Yeah, pretty sure." I shrugged, as I grabbed my jacket. He grabbed the back of my jacket to keep me from walking out the door to visit Dick.

"Why do you seem sure that you'll beat me?" he inquired. I grinned.

"Because the more I hang around you, the more I learn." Jason let go of my jacket.

"Well, until next time then." he smirked.
