I can't stand it anymore, the way it cuts me when you leave. The way your eyes are cold, none of the passion from last night. Drunken lust, that's all it was to you. But not to me. I needed your touch, needed it like the breath that fills my lungs. Needed you. I always have, every since the very first day we met. You protected me. I was scared and you saved me. Kept me safe in a world of fairies and love, a little bubble of home. But I was curious, tested the limits. Shattered our perfect life. And that's when the green flame of your eyes died. Nothing can rebuild our castle of frost. So now you come to me only for one thing. To satisfy your desires. You say you need me, but I know the truth. I can see it every morning after. Bed as cold as I know your gaze would be, had you stayed. But not anymore. You can't break me again.
