Hey this is my first fanfic. I would love to know if you liked it.

So, let's begin the story.

NORMAL POV

"Ran why is this so hard?" Amu Hinamori asked her shugo chara as she did her math homework.

Amu's POV

"I don't know Amu. Do you need a tutor?" a husky male voice whispered in my ear.

"Ikuto! What are you doing in my room? How long have you; been there?" I frantically yelled at the annoying cat-boy.

"What does it look like Amu-chan? I came to see you, obviously. Oh, yeah I've only been here a couple minutes. Hey, I hope you don't mind, but I came in through your balcony. You really should lock that thing it's not safe you know."

"My room is on the second floor you stupid neko. Besides, what if I wanted to go outside?"

"That's your problem, not mine. It's my idea but it's not my problem." He answered like the jerk he was.

"Never mind. Why are you really here?" I asked.

"I thought you might like to go to the zoo. But if you don't feel like it we don't have to go and see a bunch of cute animals. If you don't feel like it I'm just gonna leave."

"Wait, Ikuto. I want to go to the zoo. Please don't leave, I want to go to the zoo, I really do." I really did want to go to the zoo and this is a secret but I really wanted to spend some time with Ikuto.

"What are we waiting for; let's go then Amu-chan."

LATER- AT THE ZOO

Amu's POV still

"Oh my gosh Ikuto look at how pretty the tigers are. I just love their stripes." I said excitedly. I'd never been to the zoo before and I really liked it.

"I thought you didn't like cats Amu-chan. You don't seem to like me very much. So, I'm glad I learned something about you." Ikuto said quietly.

"A. You never asked if I like cats. B. You always tease me and it's pretty annoying sometimes. C. You are a pervert with kitty ears." I replied testily. I was really annoyed at his comment.

"So, I'm your pervert Amu-chan. You know you like me somewhat, everybody does –even Utau." Ikuto said annoyingly accurately while running over and hugging me

"I don't care. Why don't you go stalk her instead? So what if I maybe like you a little, I still love Tadase. Hey, stop hugging me!"

"Slow reaction much, Amu-chan? I'm not gonna stop hugging you until you admit you like it."

Okay so I did like it, quite a bit, but I wasn't about to tell Ikuto that –especially if he was gonna keep hugging me. "I don't like it at all Ikuto."

"You are a terrible liar Amu-chan. Anybody could see through that lie." Ikuto whispered seductively into my ear.

"You wish, Ikuto." I said grouchily as I struggled to maintain my outer character. Ikutos' hotness was really getting to me. I swear I was about ready to just reach out and kiss him. It probably would even actually be pretty good.

As if he could read my thoughts Ikuto turned me around so I was facing him and shoved me up against a wall and started kissing me.

Ikuto's POV

As soon as my lips met hers it was heaven. She wasn't the best kisser, but she tasted so sweet I didn't care – I couldn't care. When we finally broke apart for air we were both panting really hard.

After a minute Amu shoved her lips on mine and restarted the kiss. I couldn't believe she hadn't pushed me away and/or started yelling at me (she likes calling me Mr. Perverted Kitty Ears) – I definitely didn't expect her to be the one to restart the kiss.

Next time we stopped for air Amu reminded me that we should get her home because she'd been gone for a while and her parents were probably worried about her.

I reluctantly agreed that we would head to her place after one last quick kiss.
