Hello, dear readers! I have yet to have a good deal of time to write my next multi-chapter fic I'm working on because real life is so hectic. I am currently working on my edTPA-one of the 6 certification tests I need to become a teacher.
So, here is a poem I wrote back in my sophomore year of college for my poetry class (I can't believe it was only 2 years ago! Feels like longer). I hope you enjoy it!
Disclaimer-I do not, in anyway, own Narnia. If I did, I wouldn't be on here :)
"Leaves"
Green leaves.
One takes advantage of the sight.
Green leaves—
A sign of might.
White snow.
They've seen it a hundred years.
White snow.
It would weaken them to tears.
Young children.
Their presence broke the spell.
Young children
And Aslan rescued them from hell.
The leaf—
The symbol of the Golden Reign.
The leaf.
When Narnia regained her fame.
Golden leaves.
Life in Narnia was lavish.
Golden leaves.
Then the Four vanished.
What did you think? Please leave a review! The box is right there. :)
Aslan's Blessings upon you and yours!
