Look Up
She does not want to go. Not anymore. Not after what she has just said. Those words meant much more than they should have. She is sure there is a secret plead in them. Stay. She can see it in her eyes. She wants to draw her into a tight hug. She wants to find the courage to whisper in her ear that she is staying. But she does not. Olivia can see the woman in front of her is tensed. She thinks she knows why. Maybe she feels the same. But that blonde version of her does not move either. They are standing inches apart, close enough to forget the world around them. They do not know what to do. Olivia wants to cry and smile at the same time. She bites her cheeks because she does not want to grimace. She does not want her to see the emotions struggling inside her body. Because Olivia knows how easy it is for her to decipher people. And the last thing she wants right know is to be deciphered. An order is given. The blonde hesitates a second. Then she goes away. Each step she takes is a stab in Olivia's stomach. They are all standing in rows. Facing each other. It's okay. Olivia stares at those green eyes that seems so far away. It is her only anchor. It is the last thing she wants to remember from their world. She stares so deeply she does not blink. Not once. A tear rolls on her cheek. And suddenly everything disappears for a second. And then she is staring at nothing but the wall. She whispers to herself:
'I'll keep looking up.'
