Anna set her packed bags down outside her dark green and black jeep and picked up her few boxes of belongings and then put her bags in on top, climbed into the driver's seat and drove away… away from him. That devil-eyed jerk… even as her heart broke; she knew that she may never see him again after this.
You'll regret losing me…
Remy watched his Anna drive away from their… scratch that, HIS apartment front window that overlooked the French Quarter's Main Street. He turned away and headed toward his liquor table and poured himself a glass of bourbon. His mind turned over and over the memories that they shared together.
But until only a couple days ago, did those memories take a turn for the worst. He'd gone and betrayed her heart… her trust. She couldn't touch him without hurting him.
And you'll think back and say…
And when his mind turned to this last conversation with her and why she was leaving him, the only thing he could murmur over his drink, was:
"Damn… that girl really DID love me."
A/N: Je suis desole, mes amis for the late late LATE update of ANY story so this is something to tide you over until I can finish typing up the latest chapter(s) of the chappie fanfics.
