Her love was red, that was the only way to describe it. Red when she tried to run from his open arms. Red when she blushed as he complimented her. Red when she laughed at his jokes, even those that were corny even for him. Her love was red.
Her love was fire, blazing bright and burning eternally. Whenever they touched, he felt the warmth radiating from the contact. When they kissed, he felt the tingle as her red-painted lips touched his. A red hot feeling would grow within his chest until he felt he would burst. Her love was fire.
Her love was free like the birds that flew above as they sat on a red blanket behind his home. It was unrestrained and no one would stop her from showing him just how much she felt for him. They would run together, laughing loudly as she led him by the hand. Her love was free.
Her love was deep like the lake they sat at, their feet splashing in the water. He could get lost in her eyes as they spoke about life. He wanted to know everything about her, inside and out. He felt sometimes like he could drown in her and he found he didn't mind it. He would swim through it all. Her love was deep.
Her love was brave. She would go to the ends of the Earth for him. She wanted to keep him safe. She wanted to fight at his side. She said it was too dangerous for them to be apart. He wanted her safe as well, but he knew she had something to do. She pouted, her red lips slightly swollen. She wanted to say more but he quickly quieted her with a kiss. He would see her after everything was over, he promised. She gave him one more look before she ran off. Her love was brave.
Her love was red like the blood that leaked from the back of his head and painted the stone floor. He could not hear as she called his name repeatedly wishing he would respond. He stared unblinkingly up at her as she tears rolled down her cheeks. He wouldn't feel as she kissed his lips for the last time. Her love was red.
