Prologue
A distant cry in the ocean called out to Serena Tsukino from afar as Serena knew she had to fight again. She saw her daughter Rini caught in the ocean's currents being pulled down by an unknown and unseen force as she cried out again for Serena. Serena held her hand up in the air as stars began to fly out to her as she held up her outer transformation pen and shouted out "Moon Xtreme planet power!" Nothing was happening as she freaked and the heavy wind made her drop her pen shattering to pieces when it hit the sandy beach.
Serena then ran out to Rini and saw Rini's dark self drowning her Rini shouting out "Leave... her alone!!!!" The scream blew Rini's dark selves mind and disappeared into the depths of the ocean pulling Rini down with her as Serena cried out for Rini and swam after her even though it was storming. Serena found an unconscious Rini in the water and pulled her back to the surface as Serena and Rini were both coughing as lightning struck. "Serena... Rini! Grab our hands!" called a voice from ahead coming fast in a motorboat as Serena recognized that concerned voice right away. Amy Anderson along with Lita kino, Mina Aino, Raye hino, Amara Haruka, Michelle Tenou, Trista, and Hotaru Tomoe were all reaching their hands out for Serena and Rini to grab while Darien Shields was steering the boat.
As soon as Rini and Serena got in the boat, the waves crashed in the boat making everyone almost lose their balance, but held on to the railing for their safety. A loud evil laugh echoed in the sky as Kaorinite was riding the backs of two great white sharks saying "I'll make sure you'll go to a watery grave!" Kaorinite then sent out a huge wave to plunge the scouts into the ocean when a flashing light sent the wave back toward Kaorinite as she screamed and disappeared into the ocean's depths. A voice then said after seeing all the transformation pens shatter "I bestow a gift to you and your friends. For you and the outers, I made you some new transformation pens and for the old inners they have staffs now and Lita will lead them to victory as leader of the Sailorguardians. I wish you all good luck, Sailorscouts."
