New life New Change New Year

New life New Change New Year.

Draco looked at Hogwart's not being able to believe that it was standing and he was back.

"New life, better get used to it." He whispered to himself and a small voice in the back of his head hissed, "Shouldn't talk to yourself… they might think you are crazier then that Potter already made you."

Draco glared at himself and walked up to one of the carriages to take the trip up to the castle he thought would be the end of everything.

Draco sat in the great hall with the bodies laying all around, his mother and father by his side, and they watched at the rejoicing of the Dark Lord's final fall, and embarrassment.

Everything was going to be a new and very changed, they couldn't leave due to the Ministry placing his father in Azkaban, thankfully his family was able to pull the last string to make sure he didn't go in as well.

Getting slightly queasy at the ride up to the office, Draco looked at the stone wall while on the way up to the Headmaster's Office. Pictures flew past his mind of times in Dumbledore's office with Snape and he felt shivers go down his spine at the thought of the clear blue eyes that always stared threw him and many others.

"Welcome Draco." Said a very familiar voice.

"McGonagall." Draco said with a curt nod getting out of his mind and walking into the room that held his old Transfiguration teacher and a few other people some new some old.

"Well this is the start of a new year." Someone said as they came in as well a few moments later, a voice Draco thought he would never hear again.
