"Minato, you know it's coming and it's on a merciless rampage right?" Jiraiya asked out of concern for his student. He had every right to be-he was the one putting his life on the line for the Village Hidden In The Leaves, or Konohagakure no Sato. The perverted ninja had grown attached to the boy, however he was beaten by the said blonde from time to time for various reasons, the worst was when Jiraiya had followed him and his wife to their honeymoon in in the Hidden Mist, and the beating that ensued was, well, for general audiences, very ugly. However, all that put aside, the Nine Tales was attacking the village, and many Leaf ninja were going down left and right-all higher rank ninja were lost that day.
The Fourth Hokage looked at Jiraiya with a passive smile, and responded; "You still haven't changed, Ero-sennin." which riled up the poor man with unreasonable anger at the Kiroii Senko of the village. The Nine Tails advanced with the Sharingan blazing, hatred clearly shown in the demon's eyes, which was intended to frighten the Hokage, which unfortunately for the beast, left the Hokage unfazed.
"Meddlesome commoner, you think that you can best me? The Nine-Tails all destroying fox?" The beast boomed, and attempted to slash the boy that goes by the name of Naruto Uzumaki, and without a word the fox was sealed, the said demon screaming in protest as to why he had to be sealed in a child. The whole village went into relief, which was short-lived because tragedy struck with the joy.
Minato Namikaze, the Fourth Hokage and Yellow Flash of the Leaf, was dead, alongside his wife, Kushina Uzumaki, the Red Hot Habenero and Red Death. Not alal hope was lost, though, because the Third Hokage made it clear that Naruto was their son and was to be regarded as a hero.
And so, the story of Uzumaki-Namikaze Naruto was born.
