"You sure this will hold?" Face looked nervously at Hannibal. Face was strapped into a harness, connected to the chopper. Hannibal had helped him in it and was checking it was secure.

"Sure, they pluck people out of the sea in these things all the time!" Hannibal grinned, shouting over the noise of the chopper as Murdock flew across the dark city sky.

All the buildings and cars lit below looked like a glow of fairy lights amongst the dark.

"Okay Faceman, you ready?" Murdock turned back and gave him the thumbs up. Face nodded back, he'd never really be ready to jump out of a flying helicopter.

Face carefully looked out of the chopper and ahead of him. Amy was standing on the top of the building, frantically waving to get their attention. Face was relieved; she'd made it to the roof.

Amy kept looking over her shoulder in fear and then waving at the chopper in desperation. She was wearing a red cocktail dress but her feet were bare where she'd kicked off her stilettos to aid her run up the stairwell and on to the roof.

"Hannibal you might want to cover me!" Face shouted, pointing to the four goons that had just appeared out of a door onto the roof and were now closing in on Amy.

Face let go of the chopper and floated in mid air, the harness was the only thing keeping him linked to the chopper. Hannibal lowered him down further. Murdock brought the chopper in low, but couldn't afford for it to hover for too long.

Amy ran towards Face as he swung towards her and they grabbed each other, flinging herself into his arms he lifted her off of the roof. As soon as Murdock saw Face had hold of her, he immediately flew the chopper away from the building and the gunfire that was now aimed at them. Hannibal returned the fire. Amy wrapped her arms tightly around Face as she heard the gunfire; he was the only thing that would stop her from falling. She couldn't bear to look at the city below her burying her head into his neck.

"It's alright I've got you!" Face tried to reassure her, as they floated above the city underneath the chopper. He felt a strain on the harness; Hannibal was now winching them in.

end but TBC...
