Summary: Shattered rose colored glasses can lead to a different ending of a story. This one does not follow the intended ending, of where Peter comes back when Wendy is older and Jane is born like she appears to be. Tis of a darker nature where the history of the fairytale has turned cannon chararcters of the story in a different way. Wendy is growing up, her past and present well explained, in a different sort of way.

Wendy/Hook, with some Peter and Tinkerbell as well as the Darling family.

Unfortunately, I do not own the beloved works and characters of J.M. Barrie, for it is his and his alone. Although, the thoughts and fantasies one has of the characters is something that I myself own, as well as other writers.

All from the mun for now . Comments are well appreciated to tell me if I should continue. Should you wish to comply, place them in the little box.

Prologue, Once upon a Time

Once upon a time, there was a family who lived on one of the quaint and pleasant streets of London. They consisted of what any normal family did; a hardworking Father, a loving Mother, two rapscallion brothers, as well as a creative and adventurous daughter, and the family dog. The home was small, but full of warmth that shone throughout all of London.

Perhaps this is what drew the Golden haired, forever youthed child who enjoyed stories and curiosities that lay beyond his grasp.

Now the Children, whom were of the Darling family, were the ones who helped shed the light. Above all, it was the girl, who told stories filled with twists and surprises which triggered their imaginations. She was Wendy, the eldest and wisest. It was a name that rolled off the tip of one's tongue, pleasant to the ear. From her dreams, the muse would develop of stories of a place, the Neverland, and the ones who lived within it.

Of course, we all know the story, of the boy bringing the girl and her brothers to the Neverland; full of the most lovely adventures. There was always something there that completed each story told as best as it could. Pirates, Mermaids, Indians, were only the few that one knew about, what was told, and what we know of.

It was a grand adventure, leading to the untimely and known end of the Hero defeating the Villain. The girl fell in love, or so she thought, and would never forget the boy who showed her the most wonderful adventures.

Yet… This is not what our story is about. After all, what fun would be in that? It is of a tragic moment when the Pan's rose-colored glasses are shattered, seeing the girl grew up. He has forgotten about her, so she of him in a way one does emotionally, in anger of being left so abruptly. He had never come back to her window, and she cursed him for it. Perhaps this is an end that a certain individual would be happy about, or not even know at all. After all, memories in the Neverland are vague. One may remember who had come to the Neverland, but nothing more, not knowing of anything that could change.

This is where we begin….. the growing up of one, and the trials she is put through. But no matter where one goes, memories of the past are always there to haunt them, may it be from the glisten of fairy dust from one petite creature, to the haunting and entrancing blue eyes.
