1:57 A.M. it was way to earlier to be up but he couldn't sleep and he wouldn't be able to get back to bed even if he was drugged. Xigbar got outta bed not caring that he was still in his pj's who the hell could be up anyway? He walked down to the kitchen and started the coffee. Grabbing the remote he flipped through channels even though he knew only paid programming was on this early. Half way through channels he saw someone he never expected. The young blonde walked in and froze upon seeing the other.
"Hey what are you doing up?" the Xigbar raised an eyebrow
"I could ask you the same thing, squirt. What had a nightmare?"
He glared "NO!! I'm not five."
"Geesh chill. So why you up anyway?"
"Couldn't sleep."
"Same here" Roxas sat down across from the other nobody looking at the floor.
"Hey kid something ain't right. What you and Axel get into a fight or something?"
The blonde glared "if we did what's it to you?" he pushed his chair away from the table to get up.
"Nothing. Just think it's weird to see you without Axel."
"Yeah well what about you and Demyx. You left him?"
"Nope that's different he's asleep, and I didn't want to wake him up."
Roxas gave a weak laugh "good one." The coffee beeped and Xigbar got up and poured it into two mugs.
"Here" he sat down handing Roxas one of the mugs.
"No, thanks"
"Suite yourself'" he pulled out a bottle and poured the amber liquid into his coffee. Roxas laughed as the other took a sip.
"What's so funny?"
"Well, I think I just realized something."
"What'd that be?" he took a sip of the drink.
Roxas walked over to the door smiling.
"He's lucky you know." He looked up mid sip.
"Thanks Rox, give him a chance." Roxas looked over with a raised eyebrow.
"Sure he's crazy but Axel means well."
"I was right he is lucky." The younger boy left the room. Soon after Xigbar too, left for his room. He lied down next to the sleeping musician trying not to wake him up but it didn't work.
"Xiggy?" he said sleepily
"Shh, everything's fine go back to sleep."
Demyx smiled; laying his head on the other chest. Soon both fell asleep which Xigbar thought would've never happened after he'd woken up. But never say never right?
