It was New Year's Eve, and all the Weasleys were at the Burrow, preparing the home for extreme celebrations. Unknown to the adults, Victoire and Teddy were eavesdropping.

Victoire Weasley, and Teddy Lupin, both stood at the door, where George and Angelina were discussing kissing at New Years for good luck. Victoire got an idea then. She shook Teddy's hand, and whispered excitedly.

" Teddy! We should kiss at midnight, so we can have good luck! If we have good luck maybe Harry and Ginny will have a baby! Maybe we'll find money!"

He considered it, and it seemed to make others happy when they were kissed, and he wanted Victoire to be happy. He nodded his head. Surely, if it made others so happy, he should do it to her? Right?

And for the rest of the evening, they spent playing hide and seek, and Uncle George had whipped out his camera, taking pictures of everyone, and everything, capturing the last memories of the year 2003.

As the clock approached midnight, almost everyone kissed. George, taking a picture of Ginny and Harry, had spun around, and had just done so at the right moment. He saw Teddy, his eyes darting to Victoire and the clock. Exactly as it struck midnight, Teddy darted over to Victoire, and kissed her cheek. Then, when she broke away, he unexpectedly kissed her lips in a brief, innocent second.

George smirked. He had taken a picture, and held the button precisely. The camera whirred with unseen magic, and printing a picture, it brightened and started moving. He looked up to see surprise on most faces. Teddy was blushing, his face as red as a tomato, easily mistakable for a Weasley at this point. Harry asked why they had done that, Teddy answered:

"I thought it would make her happy."

All smiled at the innocence of 6 year old Teddy Lupin.

15 Years Later, Victoire Lupin smiled at the memory, of her and her husbands first kiss. It wasn't romantic, but it was still their first kiss. She smirked and cooed at 6 year old Teddy, and the red of his hair, and his eyes darting to her.

Teddy Lupin saw the photo over her shoulder, and hugged her waist from behind.

"Even then, you were gorgeous." he whispered in her ear. She huffed, lifting her blonde hair out of her face. It glinted in the sunlight streaming in from the window, turning it a brilliant, fiery red.

Her Sapphire eyes locked into his currently Forest Green, and she smiled a sad smile, a nervous one. "What if I'm not a good-" She started.

"Don't. You'll be a great one." he said. He brought his hand to her stomach, rubbing the soft bulge. " I hope they look like their mother. If they do they'll be beautiful."

"I hope they look like you! Because then they can change. I would like to have a turquoise haired son." she laughed.

His hair immediately brightened to his most commonly seen hair color, turquoise, and he smiled. "I hope my daughter has your brilliantly glowing blonde hair."

They kissed, and continued putting everything in place, quietly moving into their new home.

A/N: I don't know what to think- I don't think I captured the essence of the Weasleys, and it seems very rushed to me. Tell me what you think of it!
