Twilight of the Gods
Written by Mugen7
Twilight of the Gods is my name,
Chewing my own limbs to keep me tame.
From mortal coils souls are reaped,
They join a mass of power increased.
Twilight of the Gods shall near real soon,
Be it seasons change or phases of the moon.
Twilight of the Gods feeds on creation,
Their blackened bod shall incite damnation.
Twilight of the Gods will soon outrage,
Against all foes in the final age.
Twilight of the Gods is my name,
Chewing my own limbs to keep me tame.
The Black shall govern alongside Blue,
The ruling powers thus ensue.
Entombed souls are no longer leashed,
They'll follow the power of destruction unleashed.
By end He'll come to embrace oblivion,
In turn laid to rest in a blue empyrean.
Benign forces shall arrange a shower,
The røkkr thus honed in never-ending hour.
Twilight of the Gods is my name,
Chewing my own limbs to keep me tame.
Fin.
Mugen7: Short poem primarily inspired by the notorious Crimson Fucker from the Hellsing anime/manga series, which was then further inspired by a poem called The Bird of Hermes, written by an individual named AlexL.C some years back, in addition to learning that the title of their work (and the quote itself) has ties to The Ripley Scroll.
This work of mine is a parody of AlexL.C's own poem.
