"Cosima?" Delphine called as she heard her girlfriend's coughing stop, "Cosima!" She put her laptop down and went to investigate. She found the woman lying on her back on Felix's bed, "Cosima, ma cherie, are you alright?" She inquired as she approached but the form lay still, stiller than Delphine has ever seen Cosima to be and very quiet, "Cosima? Cosima please reply to me?" She said worriedly, rushing to Cosima's side.

Oh no…

"Cosima!" She yelled, mumbling phrases in French and jumping onto the bed, placing her fingers on Cosima's neck.

"I got'cha didn't I!" Cosima suddenly jumped up and gave Delphine a terrible fright.

"Merde!" She cried out.

"I had you that time!" Cosima said far too delightedly with a giant grin on her face, "I soooo had you big time!" She said and then stopped, noticing that her girlfriend was joining her in her laughter, "Delphine?" Cosima prompted.

Delphine was clearly trying to form words but she just sat there, still as a statue with a stunned look on her face,"You… you-"

"Yeessss?" Cosima encouraged, "Dude I so totally had you there didn't I?" Cosima joked.

"You are such a BRAT!" Delphine yelled, leaping off the bed and walking away from Cosima.

"Delphine-"

"Non!" Delphine interrupted, her hand on her fore head as she paced Felix's loft and began a string of French that Cosima didn't understand, "You- you pretended to be DEAD?!"Delphine questioned, her voice breaking as she turned around and tried to stop her crying.

Cosima's grin fell instantly, "Delphine…"Cosima started, realising her mistake and moving towards the upset blonde. "I apologise, it was just supposed to be a joke," Cosima said sincerely, stepping in front of the woman and moving her hair out of the way so she could look at her, "I'm sorry Delphine, that- that wasn't fair-"

"No, it wasn't" Delphine interrupted, "Tell me you wont do that again." She said.

Cosima smiled "Scouts honour!" She said, mock saluting.

Delphine frowned, "What is a 'scout'?" She asked.

Cosima rolled her eyes playfully, "Nevermind," She said, leaning up and kissing Delphine, effectively ending the conversation.
