As Ed and Al walk to the front door of the rockbells' home they pause."Its been long since we've seen winry" Ed said with a smile. Al goes on "It sure has." Ed opens the door and yells with excitment"Winry its me and Al!" There a guy had Winry pinned aganist the wall with a knife to her neck. There was Winry with tears running down her had a black top and her work pants on. Her hair tied up of course."g-guys" she said struggling to get her words out. The brothers looked down at granny with her neck cut open. There jaws dropped. "You bastard ,let her go!"
The guy just a simple theif didnt have time to react before Ed sliced him in half. Winry so terrified ran out the door before the brothers could stop her. She ran half a mile down the road with Ed and Al chasing after her. Finally Ed grabbed her hand and spun her around examineing her body for cuts and brusies. "Its alright the guy is dead" a voice from behind Ed said. "Al.." said Winry with her voice at a whisper. "Winry its gonna be okay." Ed said looking at the direction of the house. He then took her by the wrist and lead her over to Al" You two stay here for now" Ed said as he walked back to the house.
As Ed reaches the house he cleans up the house making everything look new. He takes the old theifs body and throws it in the river. The area that the theif had been dumped was bloddy making the river red. Ed returns to the house to find winry run pass him. Al comes right after her, stopping when he gets to Ed right outside the door. Ed runs in the house knowing what Winry would find. "Get away!" screamed Ed while taking her by the shoulder and throwing her back into Als' arms. "Get her out of here now!" Al quickely runs with winry upstairs locking themselves in her room. Al holding onto winry carefully walks her over to her bed. Sitting on the edge of he bed crying hestarically.
Ed takes grannys body carefully down to a grass patch a mile down the road and burries her. He then thinks to himself "If only i would have gotten there sooner" as he shovels a grave.

After burring granny Ed hurrys back to the house. Al is with Winry in her room as Ed walks in and sees Winry with her head down"It seems that she has cried all her tears out" Al says softly ,thinking she cant hear him. "Winry.." Ed says as he walks over to her. He kneels down so they are at the same level. Looking into her eyes ,he sees no motion."Winry are y-" Winry inturpets him "Ed!" she says while she began to cry again before jumping on Ed ,knocking him down. His elbow rested on the floor and the other arm wrapped around winry ,pushing her head into his jacket. "Dont leave me alone again."
