It was a rainy night, in a huge castle that belonged to young master Hazel.
The sanzo-ikkou were dripping wet outside the grand mansion.
Hakkai: Sorry to barge in, we're some high school graduates doing some research here. But we kind of got lost while wondering the mountains. Would you mind letting us stay the night?
Old man: Sure.
After stepping into the mansion
Goku: It wasn't so fun to play at after all.
Sanzo:IF YOU WANNA COMPLAIN TAKE IT UP WITH HAKKAI (he's the one who tricked them into coming here)
Gojyo: Ah-Choo!
Old man (house-keeper): Meeting with these circumstances is most unfortunate. Everyone please proceed this way, young master Hazel would like to have a word with you.
They enter a room with Hazel sitting on a posh chair in a posh room with Gato standing behind him like a bodyguard.
Hazel: Please feel free to rest here until the storm blows over, by the way if you're looking to speak to my father (the head of the house) he's already asleep. Life on this mountain can be rather boring so I welcome you to stay here as long as you like.
Gojyo: What a big mansion.
Goku: peering around Yeah, not to mention old and run-down, almost like a ghost mansion.
Hazel: holding a glass of wineyou are absolutely right; generations of grocia's (is this how you spell his surname?) have been under a curse.
Gojyo and Goku: A curse!
Old man: Ah! Young master you're drinking again!
Yaone (in a maid's outfit): slams the door openMaster! Master he's……(she means hazel's dad)
They all rush to the master's room
Hazel: Father!……Father!
They see him on the floor with his hands on his throat almost as if he'd swallowed something foul, blood trickling down his mouth. He was dead.
Ni Jien Yi (Their personal doctor): By the looks of it he was poisoned to death. He's been dead for over three hours. It could have been suicide or maybe it was murder.
A woman: It must be the curse!
They see a green-haired woman (gyokoumen koushu) biting her nails.
Gyokoumen Koushu (2nd Mistress of the house): Everything the fortune-teller told me is coming true!
Goku: turns to look at Sanzo Sanzo…do you really think this is because of the curse?
Sanzo: If the curse really was behind this death, then we don't need to call the cops (he's being sarcastic)
In the kitchen
Kougaiji (1st mistress's son): peeling a potatoalthough master's wealth will be transferred to hazel when he dies, he really dotes on me.

Back to the story
Maid: Kyahhhhhh! 1st Mistress!
Everyone rushes to where they heard the scream and see the 1st mistress in the bath floating in the bathtub blood trickling down her mouth just like the master, she was dead.
Hakkai: Hold on everyone no one can be certain this was because of the curse, it could be a murder.
Hazel: Whatever the case I'm the next one aren't I?
At the master's room
Gojyo (he's at the master's room): Hey whats this? Hold on, this earring its…
Someone stands behind him with an axe.
Back to Hazel and the others
Hazel: The one behind this most likely is young master Kougaiji.
Everyone else: Eh!Master Kougaiji!How can it be!
Ni Jien Yi: My relationship with master is very shallow so why would I murder him, but as for master Kougaiji here…
Hakkai: So in other words this was all a murder that had nothing to do with a curse?
Sanzo: lifting his cigthis "curse" doesn't exist at all
Hakkai: Sanzo do you mean to say you know the murderer is?
Sanzo: points towards the reader(if this were a comic book he'd be pointing to the reader) the murderer is you punk!
