e,e okay after reading this wonderful fanfiction that was Kakashi x Orochimaru I now ship them and got this idea for a fanfiction and yeah…lol XD welp now there's three people I ship Orochi with! xP
It was so sudden and so precise that it was clear it had been planned for a long time. The villages fell quickly to their own separate mutinies from many of their shinobi and not even the Kages were able to avoid being caught. Trapped, scared and confused, the shinobi of the great ninja villages are caged and being sold off like pets to those who helped in overthrowing the villages.
The rumbling of the machine they were in was loud and very nerve-racking for the shinobi. Children cried while their mothers tried to sooth them, shinobi muttered a few soft words to one another, casting glares at the rogue ninja that was in the far corner of the area. Golden eyes glowed slightly in the dark area and pale skin stood out painfully against the wall making the already cautious snake even more paranoid.
He couldn't believe that Kabuto just up and betrayed him like that, but what outraged him was the fact that he was sold off to be bought at some high price for the newcomers to do as they wished. He wasn't a pet! No one had any right to treat him as though he were a primitive animal!
"Lady Tsunade, you're finally awake!" a relieved voice exclaimed and golden eyes snapped in the direction of the voice. He could faintly make out the outline of Tsunade and he wasn't sure if he should feel relieved that there was at least someone he knew or if he should fear for his life. "Where are we?" Tsunade asked and everyone mumbled quiet indecisive answers.
"We're in some type of machine being taken away to be sold as pets for anyone who isn't us."
Everyone went silent upon Orochimaru speaking and Tsunade looked over at her former teammate. "You got caught as well?" she asked and the snake rolled his eyes. "Clearly. Kind of hard to fight back against someone who knows exactly what herbs to mix to not only staunch chakra but reduce the speed of one's reaction time." He hissed, the venom dripping from his words clearly not directed towards the blonde.
"Kabuto betrayed you?" Tsunade asked and the pale ninja didn't bother replying, he simply leaned further into his corner and brought his knees up to his chest. "Have the effects of the herbs worn off?" she tried again and once again he didn't reply, like hell if he knew considering they completely sealed away his chakra. "Orochimaru-?" "They sealed my chakra, Tsunade, I have no clue if the herbs have worn off because my body feels heavy and sluggish as though the drugs were still in my system. I just. Don't. Know." He snapped, his distress becoming clear briefly before he curled in on himself once again.
His former teammate stared at him in surprise before she moved closer to him. "How did they seal your chakra?" she asked and the snake slowly slid his loose shirt off his shoulder, revealing the seal that was keeping his chakra captive. "Who-..? Don't say-." She stared at Orochimaru with horrified eyes and the pale ninja simply let his hand rest on the seal.
The two sat there in silence for a while before Orochimaru was finally able to swallow the lump in his throat. "Unfortunately yes." He managed to mumble in a choked voice before he hid the seal once again. "We've stopped." A voice said in surprise and suddenly the area was filled with bright light causing them all to flinch.
A group of men walked in and started grabbing the women and children, when they grabbed onto Orochimaru he hissed in anger. "I'm no woman, fool, leave me be!" he spat, struggling in their hold as they dragged him up from his spot. "He's telling the truth, leave him." The familiar voice of Kabuto made the Sannin hiss in fury, golden eyes growing spiteful as the medical ninja walked into his view.
"Backstabbing, ungrateful wretch!" he spat, hissing as he was roughly pushed back into someone, much to his surprise the person merely helped him stand again. "Amusing." Kabuto chuckled before walking away, the snake glared after him before slowly looking at who he'd been shoved into. "Hatake." He said in a flat voice and Kakashi dipped his head in greeting. "Thank you for your help, I guess…"
The copy ninja merely shrugged. "No need to thank me." He said before walking away, Orochimaru simply ignored the somewhat rude behavior and adjusted his shirt slightly. It didn't take long for another group of men to come and began ordering the remaining shinobi to follow them.
Orochimaru figured it would be safer to simply comply and followed them obediently, glaring slightly at who ended up beside him. Asuma Sarutobi returned the glare before completely snubbing the snake, who didn't mind at all. It didn't take long for another person to get shoved next to the Sannin and it was then that he wished to simply be alone.
After a short while of walking Kakashi and Asuma began talking despite Orochimaru being between them. The snake didn't quite like being there and eventually slipped in between the two in front of him to stop next to a blond with long hair. The two met eyes briefly before simply walking along silently, eventually the blond broke the silence.
"Deidara, you?" he mumbled and the pale ninja stayed silent for a few more seconds. "Orochimaru." He said and Deidara looked at him with slightly wide eyes. "You were part of the Akatsuki, am I mistaken?" he whispered and Orochimaru nodded once, growing wary of the blond in case he needed to avoid an attack. "Same."
The snake paused in surprise before quickly starting to walk again, keeping up with Deidara. "You were part of the Akatsuki? Were you with them when you were caught?" he asked and the blond nodded. "We all were caught, except for Itachi and Pain. They're the only ones who didn't. Why, have friends amongst us?" the Sannin shook his head, he hadn't been particularly close to any of the Akatsuki, well he'd more or less gotten along well with Sasori.
"Just wondering, because if not even the Akatsuki were able to avoid this then there's next to no chance to escape." He sighed and Deidara shrugged, fiddling with the small bag he had in his hand. "There might be…if I can find an opportune time maybe I can set off an explosion and get the hell out of here." He said and Orochimaru looked at him skeptically before hissing as the two of them were shoved into a cage. "Hey, don't shove people!" Deidara snapped and the Sannin rolled his eyes, moving to the farthest corner and sitting down with a heavy sigh.
Deidara sat down in the middle of the cell, though he was facing Orochimaru. "Scared of me or something?" the pale ninja asked in faint amusement, uncertainty flashed in the blond's blue eyes before confidence settled in. "Just wary." He replied making the snake laugh slightly, shaking his head.
"No need to be wary." He said in amusement before pain seared through his body, mainly his shoulder though. A muffled gasp left his lips and he grabbed his shoulder as his body began trembling uncontrollably. "Oh, is something the matter with you?" Kabuto asked in false concern and narrowed golden eyes looked at the medical ninja.
Deidara stared at Orochimaru in surprise before looking at Kabuto quickly. "Get someone to help him!" he exclaimed and Kabuto simply gave the snake an unimpressed onceover before walking away. A low hiss escaped the Sannin and he let his head rest against the wall.
Suddenly a slightly trembling hand touched his shoulder and Orochimaru looked at Deidara blankly as slowly the pain began to fade. "Are you alright?" he asked and the pale ninja slowly brushed the other's hand off his shoulder. "The pain's fading…" he mumbled and the blond slowly pulled his hand back. "What was causing your pain?"
The Sannin shook his head, muttering something under his breath. "It's not important…the pain is gone so it doesn't matter." He stated and Deidara shook his head after a second. "Maybe there's something I can do to help-?" "I don't need help!" the snake hissed startling the blond. "I-…sorry. I don't need help."
The blond slowly nodded before moving back to his previous spot, he could tell the snake didn't trust him. "Very well."
