Scenes with Kohaku

A/N: The things that Kohaku says are true, or I mean, she has actually said them (this is NOT the Kohaku we all know and love, i.e., Sango's brother. Even though I love BOTH Kohakus!). Well, let's have the skinny on Kohaku—she's my friend from school who's equally obsessed with anime as I am, rides my bus, and sings with me. We sing anime songs together! We're also in a talent show, and we've been rehearsing so much that I haven't been able to post anything… Unlike Amarin Rose, who I am a fan of, who's written 145 stories! That's a large number (and I can even count that high!).

ON WITH THE FICNESS!

Scene One—In Which Kohaku Ruins the Moment

The stars shone brightly on the two sitting on the hill. They were enjoying a night off from being hassled, thanks to Kagome.

"They sure are, um, bright…" Miroku said.

Sango nodded. "Stars generally are, you know." She smiled.

The monk blushed and scooted closer to Sango. "They remind my of you, you know, being so beautiful."

Sango mentally rolled her eyes. 'Even I know that that's a cliché…' Grinning, she replied, "Thank you, Houshi-sama."

She leaned her head on Miroku's shoulder and took a deep breath.

Miroku looked at her head and sighed quietly, then turned her face towards his.

He leaned closer and closed his eyes.

"APEDASHIT!"

Sango jumped up and looked around. "What in seven hells was that?"

"Damn it…" Miroku muttered after standing up. He grabbed his shakujou and pointed it at the shrubbery. "Come out, Inuyasha. I know that was you."

Suddenly, a strange figure popped out of the bush. "Nice to meet you. The name's Kohaku."

"Kokaku? That's… You're not… My little brother—but who are you?" Sango stammered.

"I am a creature not from this land; I serve Sesshoumaru, sometimes," Kohaku-who-is-not-the-demon-slayer said.

"But why are you here?" Miroku half-whined.

Kohaku-who-is-not-the-demon-slayer groaned. "Stop talking. I'm out of aspirin."

Miroku raised an eyebrow. "What is aspirin?"

The end of chapter one!

Well, I wrote the end of this while singing the ending theme song from Tenchi in Tokyo. It's stucked in meh head now... Yeah, just imagine that sentence in a chibi voice.
