I was doing laundry,while the boys watched their baby brother Ponyboy,who was 7/8months old,who was laying on the couch napping,while they played quietly and watched him,soon there was a loud 'thump' then a loud crying sound,I dropped the article of clothing I was holding,and rushed into the living room,to see what was wrong,when I got into the living room,I saw Ponyboy was crying,b/c Darry and Sodapop made a loud noise,and woke him up,I sighed and picked up Ponyboy,then I said "boys,what happened"well we were playing,and Soda dropped something,and it broke,and then Pony rolled off the couch,and I think he hurt his arm,but I wasn't sure,I just put him back on the couch" Darry answered,I looked at his arm which was bruised but otherwise fine,Pony then stopped crying and this surprised all of us said "'odapop'," I smiled and said to Soda "he said your name Soda"I know" he smiled then,I smiled and laughed and said "honey Pony said his first word,c'mere" when my husband got into the room Pony said Soda's name again,then I smiled and thought 'my baby knows how to talk yea!'
