Walking from class, Kaoru couldn't help but shiver.
"It's cold," he whispered suddenly. He gave Hikaru a side-glance without realizing it, and when Hikaru caught him looking at him, he blinked.
"What?"
"...Nothing," Kaoru said finally.
So they continued walking.
--
In the third music room, Kaoru couldn't help but shiver.
"It's cold," he whispered, not-so-suddenly. Hikaru was at his side in an instant.
He pulled Kaoru close to him. "Here, Kaoru, let me warm you up," he whispered back.
Kaoru blushed. "Hikaru..."
The girls screamed and fainted. It was a successful day.
--
When outside of school, the cold air hit Kaoru hard, and he couldn't help but shiver.
"It's cold," he whispered sadly, not bothering to hide his glance at his twin this time.
Hikaru blinked at his twin, wondering why he was acting strangely, then frowned. "Well then why don't you put on a jacket or something? Geez, if you're cold, bring a sweater."
And he continued walking.
Kaoru stopped for a moment.
Hikaru paused, looking back. "Kaoru?"
"...Nothing, sorry."
Kaoru caught up to his twin, and they were on their way again.
Hikaru didn't catch the sadness in Kaoru's eyes.
It's so cold...
