10.5 and Rose.

Summary: The Human doctor is adjusting to life on Earth with Rose. Though, he dreams of the other Doctor's death over and over. Until he sees what 11 looks like. This is him coping on the change...AU, of course. Review.

Disclaimer: I don't own Doctor Who. Nor any of the characters in it. Though I wouldn't quite mind owning Ten and Rose. :)

But I do not.

He tossed and turned all night, flinching at the same dream over and over again. His other self engulfed in yellow particles, pouring out of him. Was that regeneration? Yes. His other self was regenerating, into someone else. His other self is dead. He woke up with a loud gasp. Rose woke soon after, she saw him standing against the window looking out at the beach. She walked over to, notcing the disdain on his face she was now concerned.

"Everything okay?" asked Rose.

He jumped, "Oh no, sorry! I just couldn't sleep. Bad dream," told the Doctor. Wrapping his arms around his bare chest he looked at her, maybe she wouldn't pester him. He had no idea how he would tell her. If the dream was true.

"Doctor, talk to me, you know you can," told Rose. Placing a hand on his chest just above his hands.

"It's a dream of the real me, the Doctor, that's he's regenerating into this other person, like younger more boyish look to him, quite funky looking guy," told the Doctor.

"The dream isn't just of that though, of these people and instinctively the Master and a red cloaked guy fighting. The Master, wanting the Doctor's life saved him...but he had to let an old man out of a, radiation box...which killed him..." told the Doctor. Rose just sat on the bed.

"Well if he did regenerate he saved his life, which needs to be done." told Rose.

"But would it happen to me?" asked The Doctor.

"No. You're human. You get severly hurt you'd probably die," told Rose. He just went and lay back on the bed. He looked at her, she lied back down too, resting herself on him.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," told the Doctor.

"Well, it's not my Doctor anymore, you are," told Rose. The Doctor smiled.

"I should stop using his name," told The Doctor, "John Smith."

"Okay then, John, official it is," smiled Rose and kissed him.

Rose went back to sleep, it took his awhile to get back to sleep. He kept thinking of how painful the Doctor went through, for the delayed regeneration. He couldn't tell Rose that he visited her last. Maybe he could, in time. He just had to be there for her, as he knew she'd greive for his loss. But, he was upset too. He lost all of the thoughts the Doctor had. Maybe a little feeling, but he still loved Rose. He knew that much. He just wasn't used to the whole, end of telepathic or subconscious thoughts. Maybe he'll get a connection with the new Doctor...he had hoped so. He smiled a tiny bit before heading off to sleep again, the same dream repeating.

PLEASE REVIEW

OMG, Short I know. Very small dabble but I like it, short, simple and straight to the point.

Please note, I'm not that good of a writer. Seems I don't get the happyness anymore. :/
